“My husband & I went there for the first time to celebrate our 37th anniversary, the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a wonderful experience! The bartenders were very friendly, knowledgeable and made great recommendations! Our steak dinner was outstanding, super flavorful, tender and juicy, oh and huge, we both had generous leftovers! We got to meet one of the owners, Bernard, he was awesome. He spent a lot of time with us, sharing his knowledge of whiskeys and food! “The food and staff at 54th St in Glen Carbon are great but I REALLY HATE how after the remodel they can’t open the patio doors. What is the point of even saying you have a patio when it is all closed up.“

I got out to my car and the ranch wasn’t enough so I went back in and before I could ask the lady was like want another ranch? lol! Only downfall is cash only, although I had some on me I don’t always, so come prepared with cash to avoid atm fees.“

“I won’t say I don’t recommend as we’ve been there a couple times before and had a great experience! Last night neither of us enjoyed what we ordered, our fault, we both went against what we were going to originally order….we ate it, it’s fine, you live and learn. Our waitress is what left a bad taste. It’s like she instantly had something in her head about us or we weren’t one of her regulars that she had to cater to as she was sitting, laughing and chatting with those around us. Not friendly, short answers and would set our drinks down after being told thank you and just walk away. The only time there was even a hint of friendliness is when it came time to pay.“

“If you like local dive bars and pizza this is the place to go. Their pizza is the bomb ? The staff is friendly and most of the regulars are too. Lol. They also have an AMI jukebox, an ATM machine, several TV screens to watch sports games, and video gambling machines. They have a back patio with seating for smokers and they usually have heat out back when they remember to refill the propane tanks. It’s usually just one bartender waiting on everyone and making the pizzas in their pizza oven. Drink a cold one and enjoy the atmosphere while you wait. ??“

“Our family just had an amazing restaurant experience at Red Robin in Edwardsville! Our son has Down syndrome and being in public places causes him a lot of anxiety. We haven’t been to a restaurant as a family in many years because the stress for him and everyone around him was just too much. On arrival the hostess was so accommodating! She let my husband look at the table options to see what would work best for our son. She worried about skipping over us on the wait list even though we were clear that we were totally fine with waiting for the table that worked best. The manager asked a server to take on an extra table so that we wouldn’t have to wait longer. Our server, Mason, was so kind to take on an extra table for us. Mason is an excellent server. He was very friendly with our boys, kept our drinks full, and brought our food and drinks very quickly. Our meals were delivered quick and delicious. Thank you Red Robin for giving us an awesome experience!“
