“This is a great local bar, but what’s awesome is the food that comes out of this place. I came here in the last month at three different times and there was a different menu of food each time. Which feels like it would be complicated, but it wasn’t. Because every single item was phenomenal. I had the most incredible chicken sandwich this last Monday and then I came back Wednesday thinking I was getting a sandwich and got the most flavorful Filipino tacos with garlic rice and beans and the first time I came here they had SMASH JIBARITOS, a delicious Puerto Rican concept. So no matter when you go there’s gonna be some good food.“

Also shout out to the bartender for the screenplay idea and thanks to everyone that was there to help work on the first few pages of a thing I’m writing large credit to them for most of the ideas on paper so to say. Nice lighting for reading things next to the laptop in case you have to take notes for schoolwork or something. They don’t really offer any food but there’s like pizza up the street so whatever and the bartender seems to know his drinks and mixology from the way he handled the in and out busy but quiet service in a fast paced unmannered world of having to do work and your power going out so you have to find a place that can take a laptop charger and a laptop to get work done for work and also help you with side projects about things you’re working or writing about on a friday evening

Also if you leave your card they will hold it for you and let you pick it up later or ID so idk what that says about their security but that’s all I have to really say about this place from my first visit“

“Liar’s Club has some of my favorite bands on the regular, so I find myself there a lot. My band has played there too, and it’s a great experience - the room sounds good, with a solid PA system. Gary and the rest of the staff are awesome - the polar opposite of the snooty, hipper-than-thou attitude you get at some rock & roll joints. Drink prices are cheap, and parking is always pretty easy. The clientele is consistently asshole-free. Can’t think of anything bad to say about Liar’s.“

“Stopped by Four Moon Tavern on a Friday night, had the Pimento Burger and a side of onion rings. Burger was juicy, cheesy, and hit the spot; onion rings were crispy and not greasy. Walked in and thought, “huh, what is this?” It’s like a bar and a weird little shop had a baby, and then that baby grew up to be really cool. You can buy basically everything inside, and I did—left with a stone parrot from, I think, Panama?? It felt right.

The drinks are really good. I don’t know what all was in mine but it tasted fancy and strong in a good way. They’ve got stuff I’ve never heard of but it all just works. Even the soda water felt classy. It’s that kind of place.

The people are awesome. Tall, friendly, funny, chill. Like, you sit down and end up talking to someone and next thing you know it’s been three hours and you’ve somehow spent $90 and also made a new best friend. Or two.

The whole place is just cozy and full of random cool stuff—like someone’s basement, but the good kind. Not the creepy kind.

If you’re thinking about going—just go. Go now. Give them your money. They deserve it. You’ll probably end up leaving with a weird lamp or a ceramic pig or something and feel great about it.

I'd say the best thing about this place is they're awesome patio. Some nights their DJs are great some are just okay. If you can get a booth, hold onto it during busy hours because this place gets packed fast. If you're in Logan, it's worth stopping in for a pint or two.“
