“I went this this establishment a couple weeks ago, the bartender Sarah was so attentive, charismatic, and on top of everything i actually went back because of the service. Every once in a while, you run across somebody that goes above and beyond the norm at their job, if I owned a bar, I would hire 10 Sarahs. I’m writing this review in hopes that the owner sees this and realizes what an asset Sarah is to her business. She makes you feel like u belong, she is so sweet and kind patrons don’t want to step out of line because the respect her. In an industry where it seems customer service has fallen off in recent years. It was refreshing to see someone do their job so well 10 thumbs up.“

“This past weekend we celebrated my wife’s 40th birthday at Draft bar and it was an awesome night! Service with a smile and great atmosphere made for a special night! My wife and I would encourage everyone looking for a great space to party like we just did to do it here! The shot ski is a definite plus as well as the front patio! “I went Saturday Jan 24 (just after the snow started) to watch the Unrivaled games. Every seat was occupied but I quickly found an empty one at the bar and it made my night! Made a friend next to me and the bartender introduced us to the game “split the B” where you take one sip of Guinness to try and get your drink to the middle of the B on their branded glass. I won! They have non-alcoholic Guinness and other beers/cocktails which is a plus for me. Very friendly staff! Will go next time I visit from Philly!“

“i’m writing this review as i’m still sitting in the booth because it was just THAT good.

i ordered the french onion burger with the regular fries on the side, and let me tell you i haven’t had a burger check every box like this one. the garlic aioli was the perfect amount of flavor to complement the caramelized onions. the bun was seemingly buttered and fluffy. and the fries!! they had a flakey salt with not one fry left unsalted. they were also thin and crispy to perfection.

the service was great and every staff member was always smiling. i never write reviews but this one felt very necessary. 5 stars from me!“

“My brother and I went to this Soccer Bar to watch Premier League Soccer, specifically the Arsenal game.
The bartender was great even during the busiest parts of the various games.
Excellent on-tap Guinness.
I only had an appetizer, the French Onion Dip, but it was really good.
My brother had the grilled cheese and enjoyed it.

There are too many nice things to say about Trinity. The food? Absolutely excellent. Perfectly crunchy fries and cheese curds. Specials daily from 3-6pm.

I started going there when the owner became a client of the company I was working for in the mid-90s, setting up cash registers in the restaurant he opened for his nephew. I no longer live in Chicago, but make it a point to stop there and speak with the owner every chance I get. Always great food and exceptional service! You may have to wait in line, though. Understandably, it's a very popular place!“

“Stopped into The Pony Inn for a few drinks and ended up staying way longer than planned. The rooftop upstairs is awesome when the weather’s nice, and the bartenders were actually attentive even once the place got busy. Good mix of people too — not overly rowdy but still had a great energy. The waffle nachos were unreal and came out fast. Just an all-around solid neighborhood bar to watch games or hang out with friends.“

“Nice place close to the UC but don’t be deceived by the “smash burger” on their menu. First off…nowhere near a smash burger. Party was thick and had zero sear to it. Honestly it looked unappetizing. Also the meat had zero seasoning. It tasted just like you were eating playing ground beef. Even with all the toppings on it. And before anyone asks, it was not busy yet. Started getting busy after we receive our food. 3 in our party got the same thing and they all agreed…possibly one of the worst burgers we ever ordered. Others in our party ordered other things and they said they were good. But if I was asked to smash or pass on the smash burger it’s a hard pass.“

“I really wish I could give them a better rating but they for some reason decided to give my friends and I the run around. 1st of all, they sent me an email to spend my birthday there. I could invite guests, I would get a 1 hour open bar, my friends get $1 off drinks, birthday cupcakes and a $25 gift card. Also free tickets to a show and 1 for 2 for friends. We show up, they told me they knew all about my birthday and the show. We arrived about 45 minutes before the show to enjoy the drinks. When we are sat I am given 3 tickets. I was told these are for my drinks and to give them when ordering. I ask if it's only 3 and he said it was just 3 to start with and could get more. So we are sitting, having a good time. I used all 3 drink tickets in about 40 minutes (it's my bday and an open bar! Duh!) When we get moved over to the show, our new waiter said that I only get 3. So I went to our old one and let him know what he said, he told me he would check on it. He never did, even when I went up to ask again. When I went back to the show area, I talked to someone who looked like the manager (who I now believe is the owner Brian) about needing another drink and he said, "well we give 3 tickets because that's how much people usually drink in an hour". I said "okay, I get that. But I've had 3 and the hour isn't over, I have 20 minutes." And he said he would allow me to only have 1 more.... I'm sorry, but that is not an open bar. You shouldn't advertise an open bar if you're only allowed to have 3. Fix your advertisement. When we finished up the fabulous show, we noticed 2 drinks on our bill that were not ours. We went to our waiter and told him those were not our drinks. He got snippy with us saying, "well they were on your bill, I don't know what you guys ordered up front". And we told him we weren't accusing him of anything. It's possible up front someone's drinks were accidentally added, it's fine. We just want them off our bill. And so he and the owner for some reason debated over this for 5 minutes as we waited. We went over every drink we had and none of us ordered a captain and coke. They finally, begrudgingly, took it off. We paid, and we left. It wasn't until a day or 2 later I realized we never got the cupcakes or the $25 gift card. I emailed the woman, Cheryl Snodgrass, who I was in contact with about the planning about it and she was disappointed because she said they knew about me coming in and she would check. She finally got back to me and told me that when I was there, I asked the owner to use my $25 gift card for my bill. Ummmm....what??? No, I paid full price for my extra drinks and my food. That never happened. She also commented "you may not remember, which means you were having a really good time!!!" I'm sorry, now you're accusing be of being drunk so I'm not remembering? I had 3 other people with me and all of them remember the experience and not once did I even bring up the $25 gift card! I completely forgot about it until I emailed. I replied to her email letting her know that was not true, and to please get back to me and she has now ignored 3 of my emails. I'm not sure what the problem is...maybe they didn't like that I called them out on their open bar NOT being an open bar? The fact that we didn't want to pay for 2 drinks we didn't order? I'm sorry, but this is NOT how you treat a customer for a birthday event that you would want them to tell friends and come back for. It's really a shame because the shows are great, but there's no way I'm coming back after the crap they pulled. Keep the $25 gift card. Shady management is a bad look. Brian and Cheryl get an F.“

“Wasn't even a customer and still got the best service I ever received from a restaurant. Pulled into the lot with a flat tire and everyone in the middle of winter and everyone jumped in to help without a question. Will definitely be back!“
