“This Mr.Sub that’s in Berwyn off of 26th street just so everyone knows these are new owners of this Mr sub they took over a while ago and I will tell you the new owners and there food at this Mr sub is amazing the food is amazing and so good and so fresh!!! The employees that work at this Mr.sub are so nice and friendly and always give great excellent service! My daughter and I come here a lot and since we been coming here and moved to the neighborhood the food is amazing and I’ve always liked Mr.sub great food!!!!!!! This location had previous owners years ago but then these new owners took over this Mr sub and they have really turned it around and made everything better for the customers I strongly suggest that everyone and anyone goes to this Mr sub location because I think it’s the best Mr sub location I’ve ever been too and great service great food and great employees that work at this Mr sub and they all know me and my daughter cause we go to

“I ordered the regular Philly cheesesteak combo with a peach lemonade. Everything was delicious. The restaurant is clean and atmosphere peaceful.

Cheesesteak: Tasty. Sufficient amount of food for the price. I would order again. Now, keep in mind, I am not reviewing its authenticity but taste. There are varying schools of thought on what ingredients should be included on a Philly cheesesteak.

Fries: Fresh and delicious. They literally make perfect fries. I got mine salt-free. Yum.

Lemonade: simply delicious. I usually skip the beverage when ordering a take-out meal. After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. So glad I did. I don’t care for much sugar and this one was just sublime.

I highly recommend trying this Charley’s. This was my first time and I will certainly be back!“

“I visited Fitchy's Home of the Hogie yesterday. I purchased the impossible Hogie and fries. The food was absolutely delicious. Much shorter wait time and travel time then going to the Home Of the Hogie in Chicago.“

I ordered one and it was mediocre at best: basically just shredded iceberg with a handful of black olives, a few pickles, and some cucumbers. For nearly $8, it felt like a rip-off considering I could’ve bought a whole bag of shredded iceberg at Juul for about a dollar. Iceberg doesn’t have flavor (it’s basically water), and while their vinaigrettes are delicious, they’d be much better served over a spring mix or microgreens. Bottom line: go here for the subs—the meatballs especially are phenomenal, I’d eat a whole bowl of them with gravy. But skip the salad, it’s not worth it.“

“A lovely downtown sandwich shop. We got an Avocado BLT, Shrimp and Crab Roll, Turkey Club, and a Cubano. Everyone loved their sandwich and enjoyed the ice cream dessert too. Staff was very helpful and I loved the style of the restaurant. Our only critical comment was the turkey club could have used more bacon (which was delicious). We can't wait to come back!“

“I have been going to the homer glen location and it is always super clean and nice inside! i love coming here and i just want to commend the guy who made my sandwich John H. I always ask for extra mayo and then the workers at other locations usually add a little bit and spread it thinly, but john h did an amazing job and really listens to what the customers ask for and want. he doubled checked to make sure my order was correct and that i had everything on it. he is very personable, friendly, genuine, professional, and polite from the brief encounters i have had with him. Aside from getting my sandwich, he makes the jersey mikes experience even better. the sandwiches and lunch meat always seem very fresh and this is the jersey mikes to go too along with the staff!“

Not only do they have a wide variety for subs and add ons but they also sell hot dogs , italian beefs , burgers and pizza puffs as well as so many side options from fries to mac n cheese bites! I'm not sure what flavor they have.My grandson and they taste okay. She apologized profusely and had them remake me a sandwich. It was literally the most minor inconvenience in the world that cost me a whopping 2 minutes of added wait time, but they still snuck a free chocolate chip cookie in my bag. Completely unnecessary but much appreciated! Yay for people who actually care about their customers (even though, again, in this case, it barely even qualified as an inconvenience to me, lol). “As soon as I saw this place, I told my wife we had to go. It’s the home of the torpedo sandwich, how could you say no. The place did not disappoint! “I love ordering great food from this specific Jimmy Johns because the ingredients taste so fresh and I have always had excellent customer service experiences there. The blonde tall guy with blue eyes who works the front counter has always been hella nice to me ever since i first stepped foot in there, and he's not too bad on the eyes as well, which is a plus ;) I wouldnt mind taking him for a ride on my Ninja 400 some time and maybe taking a trip to another Jimmy Johns store for food! “I order the largest Philly cheese steak with everything on it. My opinion of it was a solid 4.0/5, the meat lacked flavor imo, peppers weren't cooked long enough. However the sandwich overall was pretty tasty, far from the best, but for a nice change from the normal fast foods it hit nicely. Can't really judge anything else but the food since it's inside of Walmart. Employees were fine, and was quite clean. I'd recommend at least giving it a try if your already in Walmart, but probably not worth going into Walmart just for this food.“

“Mr. Sub has always been my favorite! Whenever people ask me why, I can never quite put my finger on it—I just say it’s simply the best. Over the years, I’ve rarely lived close enough to make it a regular stop, but it’s always been worth the drive.

When I was pregnant with my son 35 years ago, I craved submarine sandwiches constantly. Back then, I’d make the trip from Woodridge out to the Berwyn/Cicero or Brookfield locations just to satisfy that craving.

These days, if I’m anywhere near a Mr Submarine, I make it a point to stop. After all this time, my order hasn’t changed: a King size Mr. Sub sandwich (I save the other 1/2 for lunch the next day). The only difference now is I’ve added the garlic-parm fries to the mix—they’re so good we usually eat them in the car on the way back home to Sycamore.

The only thing I would change is to have a location in Sycamore, IL!
