“I was visiting my daughter and she ordered take out from Ruby of Siam. The order was ready on-time and the staff was very pleasant and efficient. I was pleasently surprised on how delicious the food was. She ordered 5 entrees from here and All of the dishes were outstanding. This was one of the best Thai restaurants I ever have ordered from. It is a must try if you are in the Highland Park area.“

“I had this restaurant in my list to try for a very long time and was finally able to try with some friends. This restaurant is tucked in the food court of Park To Shop (formerly Assi plaza). I ordered the basil chicken with rice and it's delicious-definetly in my top places to have this dish! The ground chicken was flavorful and I got the spice level in mild (next time I will try it more spicy). I do wish the portion size was larger but enough to keep you content. The price is fair for the dish! The food came quickly and the staff gives you a device that alerts you to pick up your food. Overall the environment needs a little more maintenance and up keep. The staff was okay-there were a few instances where she was rude when we were ordering our food and asking questions. Overall, I will definitely come again when in the area and order take out!“

I ordered the Red Curry Chicken for takeout and it was outstanding. The curry had a rich, creamy coconut base with just the right kick of heat, and the chicken was tender and perfectly cooked. The vegetables were fresh and still had a nice crunch, and the portion size was generous enough for leftovers. Even after the drive home, the food stayed hot and flavorful. I’ll definitely be ordering this again! and most of it it’s Halal. Will def be back. Tysm!“

“We seriously love Pinto Thai Kitchen . The owners are genuine people and the food is great! They are always donating meals to front line workers and contributing to the Evanston community. They have our support! Their fish curries are pretty awesome and their delivery is really fast!“

“So, I stopped here after my post-op visit and ordered crab rangoon & orange chicken.
The crab rangoon is what I ate first, and as someone who has visited over three dozen american-chinese food selling restaurants in the Chicagoland area it is the best I have ever eaten. Really really spectacular. Incredibly tasty, strong flavors in both the filling & the sauce. Perfect amount of wrapping to filling. Will be coming here again when I'm in the area, just so I can get another set of them. I genuinely considered going back in and ordering another set when I finished the first but I had my orange chicken to eat so I sadly decided against it.

The orange chicken was next, and it was okay. I did enjoy it, but it came with onions (which I love) and bell peppers (which I hate) so I would've asked for it without the bell peppers if I'd known. Also the flavor wasn't as strong as I like, I prefer a strong orange flavor and a lot of sauce. This didn't have that, but it was the crispiest chicken I've ever had with orange chicken so that was definitely a bonus.
All in all, I'll definitely come back the next time I have an appointment here, mostly to get crab rangoon but I'll definitely be trying other things as well!“

Walked in without a resy on a busy Friday night and was really impressed with the service. We were seated right away with a group of 3 adults and a baby. All of the servers were incredibly friendly, and even though the restaurant was packed, they were attentive, efficient, and friendly the whole time.

The grilled beef salad was a bit of a letdown—the portion of beef was pretty small, and it came out dry without that flavorful char you usually expect. The pad thai leaned sweeter than what I’m used to, but the noodles themselves had a great texture.

The standout was definitely the spicy fried rice—really well-balanced flavor and perfect texture. We also asked for chili sauce and were given two different kinds, both of which were amazing and added a lot to the meal.

Thai Yasothon’s food is made with traditional presentation and spices, the portions are generous-fresh and well prepared. “Finally found my 1st great Thai place in Lake Cty since I moved here a year ago from Chicago... I tried them yesterday and looooved the eggplant with basil and basil chicken dishes... It's 30 minutes away but that's better then having to drive twice as long to the City for great Thai... “I am not local, this is a regular go-to place for a friend, so when I visit with her, she wants to bring me. I had a Chinese Eggplant with chicken dish, flavorful and spicy. Also had some nigiri sushi, all very good. The Black Tobiko was plentiful and fresh. The Tamago and Inari, which are types of sushi that are deceptively simple seeming but really show a chef's knowledge and artistry, were excellent. I'm sure I will go again.“

“Over 20 years ago I started eating at their original Lincoln Park location. Today, their delicious food keeps me coming back time after time. It helps that the restaurant is staffed by the nicest people in the world. When I call for pickup they know my order (lad nar with chicken and Japanese gyoza) and they have it ready in ten minutes. Ten minutes!“

I ordered the tofu pad thai and lime chicken. Highly recommend these two dishes.

The lime chicken is nice and crispy and comes with a good amount of rice (in a fancy silver container). The pad thai is standard and always a solid pick. I just wish they put more peanuts in it!“
