“I absolutely LOVE Cold Stone Creamery! We visited again on Sunday, May 4, 2025 for the first time in years and honestly the Chocolate Devotion is probably the best ice cream I’ve ever had. We were so impressed with it. When we got home afterwards there was some complaining from family members who did not go with us because they didn’t realize we were going to Cold Stone! “The employees here are always very nice, the food is great, and the inside is very clean. There's plenty of seating. Everytime we go the place usually has families with kids or elderly folks eating.
Once I forgot to order sauce for the cheese curds and the guy (I didn't get his name) gave me some for free!

This is our go-to spot after taking our son to his check-ups. Nothing makes a vaccine feel better than getting custard and cheese curds afterwards. I hope we continue this tradition.“

“This place has the best ice cream. We come here in the summers and just happened to be close by today. It was all decked out for Christmas and delicious ice cream as always. I got a scoop of butter pecan and cherry chocolate chip. My son got strawberry and my wife got a cookies and cream/chocolate milkshake!“

“We drive 25 minutes out of our way just to get this. They are very consistent with their drinks and even when they're busy I never get hard and old boba unlike some other places in the area. Pricing is fair and equal to other places but quality itself beats their competitors in my opinion.“

“I hardly believe this, but I left today and they forgot to include my coleslaw. I got home and called to mention it. I was told they'd bring the coleslaws to me. I thought it was a joke, like doctors making house calls. Sure enough, they came to my door with the coleslaws, an extra, and a pint of blueberry cheesecake. Unbelievable! I've gone there since they opened. Now I won't go anywhere else. Caring about customers isn't lost! Wonderful people!“

“The Inside Scoop has the best Hot Fudge Sundaes in Crystal Lake! Although they have a variety of ice cream selections, I love the vanilla ice cream, it tastes homemade. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend stopping in!“
