Chicken Shops near Lansing, IL

“The food was fresh and the customer service was very pleasant I have no complaints and I will be returning😋“

“We had had bad experiences in past visits, but now we have been attended by a woman named Norma with a very positive and very friendly attitude. My gratitude to her and I wish that there are more people worried about being attentive and liking their work to return to eat here. Tks“

“I'm very snobby when it comes to ribs. I've gotten ribs at the Lansing store a number of times and the food and service have been great every time. The portions for the buy a whole slab get a half free are huge -- easily enough for two people and leftovers. That's two rib dinners for the price of one, essentially. The ribs are very tender and the sauce is outstanding. I've read about white people being treated differently there. Don't believe it. I'm white and the service was great and everyone couldn't have been nicer. Make the trip out to Lansing. You won't be disappointed.“

“Huge fan and eater of Dave’s HC. My usual is the medium slider and fries. It’s honestly the best and most consistent chicken spot (of which there are many) in Highland. Love you Dave’s, I’ll be there again soon! 😂“

“I ordered off the Uber Eats app and did a pick up. Buy 30 and get 30 for free @ $29.99. I also had a -$5.00 coupon. They were so hot and delicious. You can’t beat this deal even if I didn’t get the extra $5 off. I don’t just throw 5 star ratings around like nothing. I’ll be back again!!“

“OMG I came to this Dave’s after the longest day at work, I went inside and ordered an amazing chicken sandwich and Christian took such nice care of me and made me feel welcomed in. Love this Dave’s and Christian made it better. ❤“

“Rib Tips are 🔥. Owners were pretty cool. I’ll definitely go back. 10/10“

“The kids at the register were nice and the food was ready quickly. It was my first time at Chick-fil-A. I expected it to be overpriced and underflavored, but it was decent. My only issue was overflowing trash cans, which looked neglected. It wasn't the best last impression, but overall everything else was okay.“

“Hands down best KFC around!!! The workers are respectful and professional, I had no problems with my order or my food. Freshly made and hot plus the chicken is very tender and juicy!! I recommend THIS location to everyone near the east side of Chicago, it’s also very close to whiting as well so goooo enjoy a nice meal with good customer service :))“

“Busy location but easy to find. Used the drive thru to order. Team members were quick, polite, and accurate. Food was warm and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken sandwich with extra mayonnaise!
It was really refreshing to be greeted and thanked. Kudos to this restaurant for making my visit so pleasant.“

“There was a slight confusion (totally our fault) and the owner attempted to make it better despite us being to blame since we heard wrong ! We’ve gone to this place so many times and the staff and manager has always shown appreciation for his customers new or common! The staff, food, and environment is worth the visit, BEST sharks in the heights !“

“We stopped in randomly after the antique shop 10 minutes down the road, and let me tell you. This Harold's in particular is a gem. The lady taking the orders is so very sweet and we had to give compliments to the chef which was also another sweet woman because she cooked the food with love. We frequent Harold's in the city, but this one-- babay! The best one we've been to. Stop in. Eat there, take a load off.“

“I recommend the chicken wings! Soooooo good. They are a nice size, not too small and juicy. Ask for lemon pepper! 5 stars. Thank you!“

“We came here for lunch today and it was awesome. I got the medium and it wasn't spicy, next time I'm going with the hot. We waited about 45 minutes in line. The place is small but most get their chicken to go so even with a long line there's room to sit down and eat.“

“I had the BEST experience with Honey's Chicken! I had to place a large order for catfish fillets for my wedding, and the owner actually came out to assist me with the order. He and his staff were very nice and accommodating. Not only were they nice, but the fish was AMAZING! I had to scramble to make sure my husband and I had fish. I'm truly grateful for the service. You guys are a blessing. Much success to you.“

“I love their service and how it was fast to get my food. i love how the food had enough flavor and good seasoning in the salsa. It was amazing.I love the customer servers highly recommend to go there, the food was delicious“

“First time I ever had Jamaican food. All I have to say is “yumm”!!! Definitely will come back!!“

“I only go for the classic chicken sandwich bc it’s the best. But tonight i went later and it was dark. I was starving so i took a bite on the way home. It wasn’t a classic chicken sandwich, it was a SPICY chicken sandwich! Holy sandwich of Satan y’all! It was crazy. Luckily i live 6 minutes away bc my mouth was on fire. My bottom lip and my throat were swollen. Next time, im not leaving the drive through before i check. I tried everything to get that sauce off the chicken but no go. They put that sauce on both sides.“

“I was pleasantly surprised that I would be given this location such a high score. I wanted to taste the wedges and chicken tenders, and I have to say it was delicious. The food was hot and fresh. There was no wait for the food and the gentleman who took my order so professional and pleasant.“

“I love this location, food taste fresh. The only thing I disagree with is no bathroom for customers, and if I have a second order, I have to go around again. The drive thru is tricky. You pay and receive your food on the passenger side, Lol. Other than that, food is good.“

“Top-tier service. Working at a fast food restaurant isn't easy, so I really appreciate when someone goes out of their way to be pleasant and attentive. The cashier who helped me was welcoming, pleasant, and efficient, I'll definitely be back because of her.
My only complaint was the food... the wings were quite small, small enough that a few extra could have been added to compensate. Other than that, the service was served up with a smile. Kudos to this KFC.“

“Visited Mr Brown’s in Chicago Heights with my wife and ordered the 6-piece mixed chicken meal with fries and corn fritters as sides. The chicken was juicy inside and crispy outside, not greasy at all. Fries were perfectly cooked and the corn fritters were sweet and flavorful. You can tell the food is made fresh. The guys there were so nice and helpful, very satisfying meal overall.“
