“Delicious! We saw the recommendation on Dine In/Dine Out Lake Bluff /Lake Forest Facebook page. So we decided to try it tonight. We were NOT disappointed. Service was friendly, nice casual dining spot. Great bar choices. The meal was delicious - we had the skirt steak and the flavor was top notch. My meal came with 4 shrimp and prepared well, not spicy. The flavors were yum and truly can’t wait to go back. From reviews the seafood looks delicious. We will try that next time!“

“We've not been there since 2017 due to relocation but have nothing but fond memories of Dover Straits. When we bought our house in Grayslake in 1995, our realtor took us there to celebrate. We continued going, mainly for birthdays, anniversaries or impress out of towners, and were never disappointed. We have immediate access to super fresh seafood in Florida but miss the ambiance and supper club vibe Dover Straits provided. Loved that the owners always greeted us like we were worth a million bucks.“

“We came to Sophia Steak for our anniversary and had a great server- Carol. She took care to help me with my dietary needs and made the meal so special. They gave us a little champagne toast and special anniversary menus. It was all the little touches that make it perfect. And then there’s the steak! Next level taste, quality and sides. “We dined at Froggy’s on Valentine’s Day, and had a wonderful time! This was our first time ever here, even though Froggys has been here for over 40 years! The interior is warm and inviting and we were welcomed in and seated promptly. Our server Peter was terrific all night, personable, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was truly a delight! We had Beef Wellington and Chicken Cordon Blue. Both were delicious and our overall experience was really great. We highly recommend this place and we will be back!“

“I've been trying local places around. So far this is my favorite Chinese. I will say, i was hesitant to try due to the prices. I'm can be very cheap at times. But the food looked good in the pictures and the restaurant has been in business for 50+ years so i decided to give in a try last week. I ordered the chicken and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, pork egg foo yung, pot stickers and crab ragoon. When i tried that pot sticker, it was the most delicious pot sticker i have ever eaten. And the egg foo young, delicious! Tasty flavorful sauce and the patty texture, egg to bean sprout and meat ratio, and taste was perfect! I have been searching for that consistency in an egg foo young for years and finally found it here. The other dishes were delicious as well. I requested for the chicken and broccoli to be in white sauce. Yum! It was worth every penny. Take my money please! I came back again today. I had to. I got the chicken egg foo young and more pot stickers. An order for myself and one for my husband. He loves the pot stickers as well. While i was there both times, i saw a lot of people come in to dine in and get drinks. Seems like a very chill environment to come have some food and drinks with friends. I am very satisfied with this restaurant. It has been a royal experience. Hope they stay open for the next 50 years!“

“Our first time to Primo was a special occasion as it was not only our anniversary but also our daughter was in town to visit and celebrate. Ryan V was our server and was fantastic - personable, knowledgeable and attentive! The menu is large, but don’t let that intimidate you! Ryan walked us through the app and entrees and we had everything from steak, to fish and pasta! ALL were delicious!! We will be back for sure, and highly recommend!“

“I’ve had the steak on my initial visit, and it was not as high of quality as I expected for the price. Flavor was fine though. Not a fan of the calamari seasoning. The wedge salad is fabulous, and in fact his is my go to whenever I visit. The meatballs are also excellent, probably had a half dozen times, once was slightly undercooked, but have been perfect since. The specialty drinks are wonderful as well. Even though in a temporary structure, you’d be hard pressed to notice.“

“Great spot for sushi tucked away in this shopping center. Went here with my family for dinner. Ordered four sushi rolls and we enjoyed all of them. The spicy tuna crunch was especially good, with the fried rice adding great texture to the dish. The restaurant was nicely decorated and upscale. They were well staffed and service was exceptional. It was the first time ordering online and I had unknownly put Wasabi in my bowl, which I had unfortunately believed to have been a bad bowl. I was able to communicate with the staff and they were so kind and were able to fix my bowl for me after coming out of work.
