“Stopped in here to try the Jibarito Smash Burger. Was impressed with this bad boys...it was like that fr. It comes with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, grilled onions and their version of animal-style sauce. The burger was a well-prepared smash burger and the bun had two fried plantains for the bun. 9.2. Ngl this was solid all the way around burger. The vibe inside wasn't my type but I wasn't there for that. Overall 8.9...the customer service was cool she got me straight on my drinks and food. But definitely will come back for the burger.“

“The interactive coin op playground of the Chciago arcade / bar scene. Priced for a cash night out- cc welcome and there is an atm. Street parking is easy but ya know how that is- taking CTA or Rideshare to Logan Square is simple. Order bites and shareable from Fry Like An Eagle next door and they deliver! Say hey to Dr. Z and be kind to the staff they are great humans there to make sure you have fun!“

“A couple blocks from Wrigley Field, Guthries is always a fun time! Gather a group, grab a table and a few games from the wall, and order a pizza to be delivered! Great for pre and post Cubs games or just for a typical Chicago neighborhoody night out. Typical dive bar drinks and beer on tap. It can get crowded, especially game or concert nights.“

“Liar’s Club has some of my favorite bands on the regular, so I find myself there a lot. My band has played there too, and it’s a great experience - the room sounds good, with a solid PA system. Gary and the rest of the staff are awesome - the polar opposite of the snooty, hipper-than-thou attitude you get at some rock & roll joints. Drink prices are cheap, and parking is always pretty easy. The clientele is consistently asshole-free. Can’t think of anything bad to say about Liar’s.“

“I won't rate the food because it's only snacks. They do have menus from nearby restaurants though, which is really cool.
This is a wonderful cocktail bar. The bartenders are really good at what they do. I think Luke is usually working when I go there? He is really good at what he does and super fun to watch. Very precise and intentional with the way he makes drinks.
I always feel very welcome and relaxed here. It is sort of strange that it is in the base of an apartment complex. I think if I lived here I would be a bit weirded out by all of these strangers in the lobby of my building.
It's nice to get drinks and then go wherever in the lobby, at the bar, or out in the back patio area of the building.
Trivia on Wednesdays is always fun as well.“

“My boyfriend and I love this bar so we decided to rent out the top floor to throw a party for our family and friends this weekend to celebrate graduating law school. Not only was Delilah's the perfect location, Mike and everyone working there went above and beyond to help us with the event. Words cannot describe how helpful they were and how much fun we had. Some of the best service and so fun and kind on top of that. Thank you, Delilah's! Could not recommend more.“

“This place is a real gem not to be missed. It’s unpretentious, with approachable knowledgeable staff. The prices are unbeatable and they always have some fun or funky wines to try. I love the monthly deep read nights, the atmosphere and music is always well curated. I just hope to get into one of their classes, but they sell out quick!“

“This is a review for Nightshade. To get there, you go to the back of Moonflower then through the unmarked black door to the right and downstairs. There are two rooms - one for music/ dancing and the other with small tables for drinks. The night I went the music room wasn’t open (guess you have to know when it’s club night). A bit bare bones in terms of furniture/ atmosphere. But, the drinks were EXCELLENT. Not a huge selection but the table I was with ordered about four different drinks from the specialty menu and they were all better than I was expecting.
Though the downstairs is designed for drinking I saw people eating from the menu upstairs so apparently you can do that.“

“We went on a Saturday night around 930pm. Not many people in there yet but the crowd that was there was diverse. Different ages and walks of life. Bar tender was friendly enough and took care of business. Poured a stiff drink for a fair price. It is a legit authentic "dive bar" for starters. The real deal. No frills. Not some wanna be staged pretend dive bar with over priced drinks and pretention. It is old, dark and dirty. We wanted to love this place. We loved everything about it except for one thing...And it is a deal breaker for us. Um. The smell. It smells horrible!!! Like an old stale ashtray with a half put out cigarette still going in it and up in your face. It was really really bad. I don't know if someone was actually smoking in there while we were there, but there is definitely still smoking happening inside that place. It burned my eyes and my nostrils. Gave me a headache. Unfortunately, we were one and done (and had a pretty good buzz from our one drink I must say). But sorry, we can't do the cigarette smoke.“

“I visited as a solo traveller from Scotland on a Friday for the legendary Turtle Racing. I paid for the drinks package which included drafts and well drinks. It was worth the price and the experience was great. I will return in 2025 when I visit again!“

“The food was very good. Our server, however, was so hyper, it was hard to even communicate with him. NOT fine dining experience for sure, but not worthy of a diner even. The “music” continues to be merely a pounding sound, not an addition to ambience as it should be.“
