I have many choices to pick from as I drive 45 minutes. This will become a regular choice going forward.“

“It’s becoming a guilty pleasure of mine to stop by Fry the Coop on the way back from a long shift and using that as an excuse to eat out. I love their Tender Plate. The chicken is well spiced and flavorful, and the fries are well seasoned. It checks every box in my list to a good meal!
Be warned that their spicy levels should be taken seriously. If you can’t take the heat. Keep it medium at max.“

“Pretty good for fast food and I prefer their breakfast over their lunch and dinner. I always get the 4 count Chick-n-Minis meal and order an extra 4 count. It’s expensive for a fast food breakfast. Wish they had an option for 4 or 8 count, it would probably make it a little more affordable. I would stop here for breakfast more often but $15.55 is expensive, considering it’s only fast food.

I could get a lot more food for the same price at a sit down breakfast restaurant but I guess that’s what you pay for convenience. I just need to give myself more time and not pay extra for fast and convenient.“

“Very Exciting News!!!

For the last several years when my daughter and I have gone to visit our family in Georgia they introduced us to this cute little restaurant called Chicken Salad Chick. After the 1st time it quickly became a favorite of ours, so every time we visit our family they know that we will be going to Chicken Salad Chick at least 2-3 times each visit.

Prior to 2021 we never even knew such a place existed.
It’s such a great meal, very light & flavorful, you just can’t go wrong with anything.

My daughter and I live in IL, so I have been checking the website to see if there was any chance that they would be opening any in our area.
I did find a few in Illinois, but they were all pretty far south from where I live, outside of Chicago.

The other day I happened to check the website again & I was thrilled to see that one recently opened in Glen Ellyn, IL.

I contacted my daughter immediately and we went the next day.
Not only was everything delicious as usual, but we had an overall wonderful experience.
The store was exceptionally clean.
Sonia, the general manager on staff, was very kind and welcoming.
The entire staff that was working there were all very friendly.
We love the menu, but the Grape Salad is our absolute favorite 💕

Glen Ellyn is still about a 40-minute drive for us if the traffic cooperates, but absolutely worth it.

The only thing I would love to see is a location open closer to the Schaumburg area!

Thank you to the franchise owners for taking a chance and opening up a couple in IL, we wish you much success and continued growth and expansion.
For anyone that has not been to a Chicken Salad Chick Restaurant, I would highly recommend.
Each chicken salad is so flavorful, they also have unique sides & yummy desserts.
Many gluten free options as well.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars

One of the employees kept apologizing because our broccoli salad was forgotten, but we completely understood how busy it was. The manager came out and kindly gave us a couple of free scoops for our next visit just for being patient, which was so thoughtful. It’s always great to see managers who are attentive and supportive of their team. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Haven't had browns in ages. My husband and I decided to stop in. The lady was super helpful, and very friendly. Husband had the 3 piece w a few sides. I did the fried mushrooms and their nostalgic coleslaw w a thigh. The food was all very fresh. The breading was much lighter in color and flavor than I remember, but was still good. The fried mushrooms were hot and decent sized. The dining room was a blast from that past and it was nice to have a stroll down memory lane . Will definitely consider their catering for the future. I do not care for kfc.“

“I like the chicken Sandwich and the fact you can get it with red beans and rice as I am not a fry guy other options are also availBle. They have good ice tea sweet and unsweet. The staff are friendly and quick to get you what you need. They have plenty of coupon deals as well. The restaurant in clean and maintained. They are not my go to for bone in chicken as I find the pieces to be to small compared to others. But I keep going back for the chicken sandwich.“
