“My wife and I got the Mongolian Beef and the Shrimp w/ Broccoli Lunchboxes (came with fried rice, egg roll and a drink). The Mongolian Beef was well cooked but was missing spice and was mostly sweet. Their best dishes by far are the Lo Mein, Orange Chicken and the Salt Pepper Shrimp.“

“my best friend and I just had the BEST experience at the whale! Our waitress taylor was incredible and the manager (so sorry but we never got his name because he was just being so nice to us) was incredible as well. We will definitely return with friends and recommend anyone to try it out! classy, but not snobby, cool decor, warm kind and accommodating staff, and great food and cocktails are just the cherry on top! try the carrot cake after your meal :) Thank you again to taylor and the manager again <3“

“I stopped by earlier because I saw a picture of Dr. Sebi on the window and it caught my attention because Dr. Sebi really inspired me to loose weight and eat alkaline things instead of all that junk food i use to eat and the moment i came in this place i felt a great vibe and it smell great i had a mushroom coffee and some alkiline water and it was delicious i will continue to go back and try other things they have a lot of alkaline things that are good for the body and the owner and the rest of the crew in there are so friendly.“

“After a mishap with their online ordering system, the owner went above and beyond to make sure I still had a vegan meal for Christmas and my birthday! I live out of town but usually order every time I visit my sister in Chicago. I've never had any complaints, but I'm very grateful for this particular meal that I get to eat tomorrow. “My favorite ice cream in all of Chicago. Homemade fresh every single day so when they run out that’s it! I love that this is a small business with so much heart. The flavors are incredible. The goat cheese cashew caramel is my go to and a fan favorite. The Italian Cookie tastes exactly like biscoff cookies. Serving size is perfect. Each scoop is not too big nor too small, and every bite is packed with flavor. They have amazing options for vegans too, so many dairy free options and days where they only serve dairy free! Staff are super sweet, there is lovely little outdoor patio area with string lights and tables under shady trees. My favorite spot to grab ice cream with friends (or solo!) and sit awhile. I have been eating Black Dog for the last 5 years and I can’t recommend it enough.“

“Irazu is one of my absolute favorite Chicago restaurants. The quality and unique flavors of their food is something I crave! The Chifrijo and pepito sandwiches are especially amazing and the kindness of their staff is second to none. Tino is a fabulous waiter and Henry is so welcoming and warm! I highly recommend Irazu!

“Was taken here by friends. Place is great, food is 10/10. Unfortunately the lack of accountability for forgetting my friends drink was not okay with me. After bringing me and everyone else's drink the server let my friend know his was coming. After a few minutes she apologized and again said it was coming. After we were just about finished eating she again asked if he ever got his drink. How do you not know if he got it or not when you are the server?? At this point my friend said he didn't want it anymore and the server just said okay. Didn't even apologize...“
