“My wife and I got the Mongolian Beef and the Shrimp w/ Broccoli Lunchboxes (came with fried rice, egg roll and a drink). The Mongolian Beef was well cooked but was missing spice and was mostly sweet. Their best dishes by far are the Lo Mein, Orange Chicken and the Salt Pepper Shrimp.“

“OMG! We found this place on a whim, looking for GF in Oak Lawn for last minute lunch options. Stumbled upon this GEM! I am no vegan, but the flavor profile is so spot on. “my best friend and I just had the BEST experience at the whale! Our waitress taylor was incredible and the manager (so sorry but we never got his name because he was just being so nice to us) was incredible as well. We will definitely return with friends and recommend anyone to try it out! classy, but not snobby, cool decor, warm kind and accommodating staff, and great food and cocktails are just the cherry on top! try the carrot cake after your meal :) Thank you again to taylor and the manager again <3“

I live out of town but usually order every time I visit my sister in Chicago. I've never had any complaints, but I'm very grateful for this particular meal that I get to eat tomorrow. “I stopped by earlier because I saw a picture of Dr. Sebi on the window and it caught my attention because Dr. Sebi really inspired me to loose weight and eat alkaline things instead of all that junk food i use to eat and the moment i came in this place i felt a great vibe and it smell great i had a mushroom coffee and some alkiline water and it was delicious i will continue to go back and try other things they have a lot of alkaline things that are good for the body and the owner and the rest of the crew in there are so friendly.“

“When I think about our trip to Chicago, the first thing that comes to mind, is Bang Bang Pies. I have never been in awe of such a place. The staff was so kind and patient. We had the most DELICIOUS pie and breakfasts I can ever recall. I can’t remember what my husband got because I am still drooling over the BLT with those earth shattering tomatoes that tasted like heaven. The biscuits were top notch and melted like butter in your mouth. And the pie! Oh my god that pie. It was the plum blackberry pie that I just know, I’ll never be able to recreate that as much as I would love to. Being from south Louisiana and having such amazing food up north was so unexpected and a wonderful surprise for us. Once we financially recover from all the money we spent while on our honeymoon (one of the reasons we were in Chicago) I’m ordering every single item online that I possibly can because I need to make sure that I can enjoy this place from home.“

“lrazú is phenomenal Costa Rican cuisine family Owen...The Pepitos sandwich with avocado is there signature sandwich...The Chifrijo appetizer was delicious recommend a small for two people and I ordered a vegetarian burrito added steak amazing there hot sauce is on point. The food is outstanding. The portions are very generous... The menu is very vegetarian-friendly, and the famous oatmeal shakes deserve the hype. 100% recommend!“

“Ordered my son’s first birthday cake (& cupcakes) from here and it was amazing! He has an egg allergy and all the vegan cakes & cupcakes we tried from other places were very dense and did not taste like what we are used to cake tasting like. So once I found this shop, seeing all the positive reviews, I had high hopes and they did not disappoint! The best cake I’ve ever had and of course my son loved it. This will be our go to cake shop from here on out!“
