“My family of six ate at Culvers in McHenry on Tuesday, Dec 31 about 1:30. We were greeted with a pleasant hello. The lady who took our order got it right and was pleasant.Since were a group of 6, I figured it would take a little longer to get our order. That wasn't the case. Not only did the order come quickly, but is also accurate. That was wonderful! When we were nearing the end of our meal, a gentleman, (Jude, I believe) can around with free samples of the flavor of the day (Mint explosion). Never has that happened at Colvers to me in the many times I eat at different Culvers! What a nice touch! Upon leaving, we got a cheery Thank you, have a great day and happy new year. I wish I lived a little closer because Culvers in McHenry would definitely be my go to place. Thank you for good food and the kindness you all showed.“

Chick-fil-A always delivers, but this location went above and beyond. The atmosphere was incredibly inviting and spotlessly clean, making for a great dining experience. The food was amazing as always—fresh, hot, and delicious.
What made this visit truly special was Brooklyn. Her personality was outstanding—she was attentive, warm, and wasn't shy about spreading positivity with genuinely sweet compliments. Exceptional service like hers is rare and made our day! There was another girl rounding and she was great as well! I think her name was Johanna? We will definitely be back.“

“Food is top tier. Sure, you can get a burger or hot dog somewhere else, but you go here if you want a GOOD burger or GOOD hot dog. Plus they're the only place in town that sells Mac and cheese wedges. Only thing that sucks is that its on the pricier side, and their interior is bland (I MISS THE OLD GLASS ROOF 🥲)“

“Alexes Vienna Beef and Kronos Gyros always has a nice friendly man take your order at the register and the french fries and the Gyros and Char broiled Hamburger is the best I have ever tasted in Mc Henry County Alex's thanks all you nice friendly men who work there I would highly recommend this place to stop at and eat lunch or dinner you will not be dissappointed and the food is fantastic and he gives the customer the best bang for his buck !“

“food was amazing, staff was super friendly and they always have the cutest setup for the kids. This manager goes out of her way to set up things for the kids and my kids love coming back to take pics doing coloring pages. It’s just such a welcoming store.“

“Good food. Service is VERY hit or miss. Several times I have had to walk in and grab sauces or plasticware they forgot to give me though the drive through. Including once where they handed me my drink with no straw, I waited, handed me my bag of food. I said we don't have a straw. He said it was in the bag. I pulled forward while looking and obviously there was no straw so I had to go inside. Also have waited 5+ minutes for teriyaki chicken and she walks it out to me with no teriyaki sauce. So basically go inside and order if your easily frustrated so you can hold their hands while they bag your order. I'm apparently incredibly patient. Been coming here for years and this is constant, maybe 10-20 percent of the time I have to go inside to get something they forgot.

But the food is normally pretty good so I keep going back.“

“Thanks, for just being open!! My husband and I were sitting down eating when an older gentleman (Ray) came in set his stuff down on table and went up to counter to order. Ray was informed that he was to place his order at the Kiosk. Ryan told cashier “I don’t know how to do that”. Young lady told Ray she was not allowed to come out and help him. Poor Ray was going to leave ( he really did not know how to order on kiosk). I went and helped him 😊 Ray was a happy camper with his meal ☺️☺️. Thanks again for being open!! Just feeling bad for the little older generation 😔 anything that can be done to help them with the kiosk ordering would be great. Thanks!!“
