“My fiancé and I have been a gyro war. I’m a Skokie Dengeos girl and he’s a diehard Squabs fan. While it’s hard to compete with childhood memories after trying Squabs I totally get it. The gyro was perfectly cooked, the tzatziki was beautiful, the fries were delicious. The absolute standout was the customer service. I was having such a bad day. I confused the gyro plate with the gyro dinner and they took such good care of me. I had cried the whole ride over and left with the biggest smile and a plate of leftovers. 10/10 I will be coming back every chance I get.“

“Had lunch there today and I have to say this is the first time I was disappointed with the service. The food was excellent but that's it. Asked for 2nd drink and never got it. Water was never refilled until we were through eating. When first ordering our wine we had problems. I will continue to eat here and hopefully this is a one time occurrence.“

“Very good for quick quality service. The portions are extremely abundant, you definitely won’t be hungry. I like how they specify on their menu which type of oil that is used. The gyros meat tends to be a bit too salty, but this is probably how it just is.“

“Went tonight on a whim for dinner and I’ll just say this place was spectacular! Without even knowing anything about this restaurant in advance, and in town from Pittsburgh for a youth hockey tournament, we happened to drive by and decided to stop and eat there. Walking in the atmosphere was fantastic and the service was spectacular. We sat at the bar, had a few cocktails, unbelievable appetizers, terrific meals for dinner followed by the most amazing desserts ever. While we were there, we had an opportunity to meet and chat with the owner for a little while. Always a pleasure to talk to someone that is passionate about what they do and appreciates both their employees and customers. It was a fantastic dining experience and I highly recommend this place. “I had a gyros sandwich today, it was the Tuesday special. This sandwich was delicious, the meat was perfectly cooked (not dry or undercooked like I've gotten elsewhere) & the sandwich was properly assembled with the right proportion of tomatoes, red onions & Tzaziki sauce.

The crinkle cut fries were really good too.
Golden, crispy & delicious sprinkled with the perfect amount of salt.“

“This was our first time eating at YiaYia's Cafe in Hinsdale, Illinois. The restaurant and bathroom was very clean. The food was great tasting and perfect portions. The waitress was very friendly and professional. We will definitely be coming back to eat here again!

“Well originally I was craving for Portillos but since this whole week I've been working at Midway I kept seeing this hole and below local restaurant.. This is my first time trying Nikki's and I was actually suprised at the Italian beef. It was not bland compared to Al's Beef or Portillo's but at the same time it was not too salty. I like that they use steak fries. Very chunky. As for the choice of a drink for the meal for $12.99 they had horchatas as well as Jamaican juice and mango or the regular soda fountain drinks. I would have given them four stars for my experience but after seeing that they don't have a bathroom to wash your hands. Service was ok. Ambience was like a hole in the wall or very local which is good. I would come back but next time would like to try their burgers or their barbecue rib tips. I do recommend for such food“

That may be the norm in O'hare, I'm not sure, but it seemed high. If i find myself in Teminal 2 with time to burn again, i'd try one of the larger chain restaurants. *Lots of reviews mention the fries, and that is true. I didn't even know that the chicken pita even came with fries, but evenly it did, and there were a lot of hot fresh really tasty fries included in the bag. I probably shouldn't have, but definitely did eat them all. The fries were great.“
