“We had a wonderful meal and very friendly staff! The crab rangoon was crispy and delicious, and the egg rolls were some of the best we've had. The moo shu pork was full of flavor, the barbecue pork with pea pods was excellent, and the beef with broccoli was tender and cooked perfectly. Everything was fresh, hot, and generously portioned.

Other than that I do have to say they're sweet and sour chicken is probably the best around. They're fried rice is also delicious. The vegetables are lazily not chopped well, so it is in huge pieces in all their dishes. It's mainly a carryout so don't eat there because it's dingy, loud and busy.

“This place is one of the best restaurants I've been to in the northern suburbs, it's hard to find good Sichuan style Chinese food but this place has it. I got the twice cooked chili fish was my favorite dish, the Mongolian beef had thick cuts of tender beef and seafood garlic fried rice was full of shrimp scallops mussels and fish. The menu has so much to choose from, I look forward to visiting again“

I live downtown and have visited his restaurants in Chinatown and Michigan Ave. The food is exception each and every time I go to either location. When the "coming soon" sign popped up in Highland Park, I could not have been more thrilled, considering the food at our local chinese restaurants refuse to raise the bar on their food. There is no better Szechuan restaurant in the Chicago area or beyond. The food, the staff, and the service are all exceptional and executed with perfection and passion. Ordered chicken curry, chicken fried rice, and a couple of eggrolls. Crab Rangoon is delicious, potstickers are fried and unique, all the Chinese takeout staples are top notch. I hope they never change! Maybe add a credit card machine, but I think the small family owned restaurant cash only joint is part of the charm!“
