“I loved this place! Excellent food and service. Very friendly atmosphere. Store front is well lit and nicely organized. Our table was clean. The plates were very nice.
Only room for improvement may just be deep cleaning aspects. Otherwise, I will be coming back for the authentic food!“

“This place was so cute and the food was amazing! We got the chicken satay, Thai fried chicken, crispy basil pork belly and crab fried rice. My favorite was the crispy basil pork belly! It was incredible and flavorful.

I also appreciated the cute decor. It was very charming inside and felt cozy.“

“My husband and I stopped into NoodleBird while visiting Logan Square, and we’re so glad we did. Everything we ate and drank was absolutely delicious. The Pork & Ginger Dumplings, Charcoal Chicken, and Ginger Lemon & Turmeric Soda were all standouts and definitely worth ordering. I also loved the thoughtful detail of the owner’s grandparents’ photos on the bathroom doors. It was such a sweet, personal touch. We’re already looking forward to eating here again the next time we’re in Chicago.“

“Portion sizes were larger than expected, and the crab rangoons are pretty good! I feel the pad thai noodles are lacking in flavor and sauce. I added more fish sauce and lime juice at home and it went from sad to decent but I'm not sure I'll order that again.“

“Did the karaoke party - - family style food first then karaoke. The crab rangoon is very good as well as the garlic green beans. The orange chicken head very orange-y. Also came with vegetable egg rolls, vegetable fried rice, sushi, dumplings. I thought the rest of the food was just ok but I'd be willing to go back to try food specifically that I prefer and could order. It's byob but he supplies ice and there is liquor on site. Jimmy creates such a lively, fun vibe!!! Definitely an experience!“

“The four of us had a great time at this local gem. We had curry with rice, drunken noodles, and two orders of “chef’s gone crazy”—the chef cooked whatever he wanted for us and they were both pleasant surprises! Everything was delicious, and I have to say that their 3/5 spice level is a pretty solid 3/5. You could definitely taste the spiciness, but it wasn’t the main star of the show. If you like your food spicy, I’d say even go higher.“

“Passed by this place 100 times and finally decided to give it a try. Kept it safe with my 1st time order and tried the chicken pad Thai and the crab Rangoon. It was amazing!! So flavorful it packed a punch in every bite! I got medium spicy and it was the perfect amount of heat, food was fresh and came fast, no long wait times. Everything was super delicious! The perfect amount of spice and flavor. Highly recommend trying this local Thai spot. Interior was bright/clean and service was friendly and attentive.“

The chicken bento box was a good value for the portions but it could've used a little more spice in the chicken bulgogi.

“Viet fusion has brought me back to Vietnam. Fresh ingredients you can TASTE! The owner is so wonderful and very friendly! Ordered the FAMOUS bahn mi(viet fusion bahn mi), I kept hearing about and let me say.. this is one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Fresh, crispy and delicious. Presentation was amazing as well. Bread was soft and I wanted to order another LOL. Pho here is traditional and I can say the servings are large! Don’t be shy to ask what’s in the soup! Drink menu is also available just have to ask! I will be back! So happy I finally went in to try.“

“The menu is small but if you are not familiar with Taiwanese flavor profiles (nobody at our table was), it could be difficult to decide what to try. Fortunately the staff is wonderful and patient and very helpful. We had a terrific server, Max, who was very fun and gave us a lot of information then made recommendations that were spot-on. We really enjoyed our meal and the whole dining experience, and will certainly come back to try other dishes.“

“Jaiyen is a total neighborhood gem! The sushi is always fresh, but this is actually one of my favorite places to get beef teriyaki—the meat is incredibly tasty and the sauce is perfect. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, the quality is consistently great. Highly recommend!“

The sauce they served it with was also delicious and different than I’ve had elsewhere. I also appreciated that the sauce was gluten free, as most places it is not. “The place has constant turnover, which is good. There are a lot of Thais so you know it'll be good. The change their menu weekly, so follow their IG. Staff is super nice. “Over 20 years ago I started eating at their original Lincoln Park location. Today, their delicious food keeps me coming back time after time. It helps that the restaurant is staffed by the nicest people in the world. When I call for pickup they know my order (lad nar with chicken and Japanese gyoza) and they have it ready in ten minutes. Ten minutes!“

“Been coming to Yatai frequently for about two years now, and every time it meets or exceeds my expectations. Service is quick and the workers are kind and check in on you frequently to make sure you have everything you need. Prices are fair especially for the portions (rice bowls, fried rice, noodle dishes, etc). My personal favorites from the menu are the crab rangoons and the crunchy sweet potato tempura rolls! BYOB and they’ll provide glasses if you need them! Absolutely love this place, cannot recommend it enough.“

“We had a great experience at Penny’s Oak Park. I ordered their version of pho with beef, and it was really good. For my daughter, I got the fried rice and egg noodles from the kids menu, and those were okay. What really stood out was the service. Our waitress was super friendly, attentive, and especially good with my daughter, which made the experience even better. It was amazing! Not perfect, but cLose!

I had the Drunken NoodLes Spicy 10 with Tofu!

It was actually spicy. Needs just a little something idk. Maybe cardamom.

“Awesome local spot, food always delicious, hot and fresh. Cheap and they really hook you up with the portion size! I get the lunch/dinner specials and literally save half for my next meal. Owners have always been nothing but nice to me and they work really hard so you gotta respect that. Gonna be really sad when I have to move away from this neighborhood.“
