I usually come to this location on the weekend before I go to work every time they have a crazy long line in the drive-through and have a line to the door inside. I’ve seen three workers max at this location yet they get my order out quick and it’s always correct and on top of that. They are very nice people. Meanwhile, the dunkin by my house will have eight workers and half the customers and you’ll be waiting triple the time you would be spending here. Hopefully the owners of this Dunkin appreciate their workers. 🍩☕️“

“I brought my three little girls here after playing at Indian Boundary Park and received absolutely wonderful service from Ricky. The coffee was tasty, the girls loved the herbal tea he made for them at just the right temperature, and the holler deal for a pastry and beverage can’t be beat! He even took the time to bring out some coloring books and colored pencils to give the girls something to do, though I think they were most entranced with the working rotary phone. We will definitely be back!“

“Drink Happy Thoughts is a great little spot in Uptown—cozy, welcoming, and very neighborhood-forward in the best way.

The Butter Me Up drink was the clear standout: a perfect balance of sweetness and espresso, smooth and incredibly well done. The Bee Sting was good, but I would’ve loved a bit more kick to really make it pop.

Food-wise, their breakfast sandwiches are fire. The Notorious with pesto was a fantastic start to the day—flavorful, satisfying, and clearly made with care.

“This coffee shop has the best atmosphere - inside AND outside! The inside was very clean and modern. Baked goods (cinnamon) were fresh and delicious as was the hot chocolate! Friendly staff.
The outside was my favorite part: Great for people-watching (large corner lot). Heaters were installed ON the awnings, which covered the entire table, and not just on a tall pole on part of the table. Their outside patio is great to sit at under the string lights if the weather permits. I love that this cafe also supports local artists by hosting an artist by displaying their pieces on the walls for a certain amount of time and also does an opening introduction night for the artist! I also love that this cafe is more for connecting with other people where you can't sit and study/work at their tables but you can sit at the bar and study/work so you get the best of both worlds! The interior is beautifully designed: cozy but spacious, modern yet still incredibly inviting. There are comfortable seating options for everyone — whether you want to tuck away in a quiet corner with a book, spread out your laptop and get some work done, or sit at a window table and people-watch. Soft music plays in the background, at a perfect volume that adds to the vibe without overpowering conversations. The space is bright and airy during the day, thanks to the big windows, and feels warm and intimate in the evening with the soft lighting. It’s the kind of place you walk into and immediately think, “Yes… this is where I want to spend some time.”
Now, the coffee — absolutely phenomenal.
You can tell that the baristas here genuinely care about what they’re doing. The espresso is rich, smooth, and expertly pulled; the lattes are silky and balanced; and the specialty drinks are incredible without being overly sweet or artificial. Everything tastes thoughtfully crafted. I ordered a latte (my usual test of a new café) and it was one of the best I’ve had in a long time — velvety microfoam, deep coffee flavor, and perfectly served at the right temperature. I’ve since tasted a few of their signature drinks and each one impressed me: creative, unique, and absolutely delicious.
Their pastries and food deserve a shout-out too.
Fresh, flaky, and flavorful — exactly what you want alongside great coffee. You can tell they pay attention to quality and don’t just rely on pre-packaged items like many shops do. Whether you grab a croissant, a muffin, or something more hearty, everything feels intentional and homemade.
And I can’t forget the staff — truly wonderful people.
Helpful, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. They greet you like you’re a regular, even if you’re here for the first time. They take time to explain the menu, offer recommendations, and somehow stay patient and cheerful even during the busy rush. They strike that perfect balance of being attentive without hovering.
All in all, this coffee shop has become one of my favorite places to relax, work, or meet friends. It’s the sort of spot that makes you want to linger, order one more drink, and come back again the next day. If you’re looking for high-quality coffee, a comfortable atmosphere, and staff who truly care about offering a great experience, look no further.
