For an Italian restaurant, we were surprised by the outstanding BBQ Ribs and Pot Roast specials - Sells out early, so we show up on Sundays before five to ensure get a slab before they sell out! We’ve been enjoying LDV for almost twenty years and did not know what were missing or the possibilities. Under Joe’s ownership/management and his vision it’s been transformational experience. “I had a catered event on October 2nd. The food was excellent!! Especially the Italian beef and Mac and cheese. Went to drop off stuff snd decided to have lunch since we were there. The Reuben was to die for!! As was the beef sandwich. We also loved the fries. Thank you Jim for making the food for our 30th anniversary party . I would highly recommend using them for all of your catering needs. And if you are in Thorton, pick up lunch. You won’t regret it.“

I believe our waiters name was Nick M (at least according to the receipt) and he was fantastic - especially for us being a big-ish group coming in a bit late in the night. I love their chicken tenders because they're not overly crispy or hard and the flavor is perfect. The honey mustard dip is really good. The fries also are cooked perfectly and they are perfectly salted.
The other day I had a cheeseburger from here along with their seasoned fries and again it was spot on. I really love this place. The service is great. Everyone I've had communication with here has been very nice. The prices are very reasonable for such good food. Cannot wait to try more of their menu items.“

Crust: this is what did it for me. The crust was a perfect thickness and kept its structure/ crisp throughout the whole pizza

Sauce: they’re cooking down their own sauce I believe. It’s got a touch of that fresh tomato sweetness. Nothing over powering, just a great classic sauce

Sausage/cheese: high quality Battaglia products. Traditional cheese blend and good sausage. Nothing crazy in this category but definitely brings their pizza together

Now to the pizzas, generously topped with huge half meatballs- not the crumbled crap so many restaurants pull and your disappointed thinking where is the beef, I am sure I ordered meatballs not this.The sauce perfection, the crust perfect and lots of cheese. Everything a pizza should be and you just can’t get in AZ. Thank you for a job well done.
