“Stopped in yesterday for a few drinks. Got to chat with the owner, eat some great local pizza from Billy Brick's, and sample some of the best beer Chicagoland has to offer. Right before we were going to head out, the owner had us sample their new offering Featherweight (which I definitely recommend). What's not to love?“

Their own hop water is good if you want an NA option. Good seating indoor and out, also have a to go room with merch. Absolutely loved their beer and highly recommend a visit! “I keep seeing this brewery pop up and for good reason! It’s spacious, so you don’t feel crowded even when there’s a crowd there. They have a pool table and darts that add to the fun and entertainment! Excellent selection of beer and a great tap. Staff are the sweetest and I hear they have popups there sometimes too! Super dog friendly.“

“We celebrated a birthday party here and the service was beyond amazing. Truly above and beyond. Philip, the manager, was so easy to work with. He responded to emails so fast and was so accommodating. When we got there, at opening, the tables were already set up and ready to go. I had opened a tab and told them when I wanted it to be cut off and they came and found me right away so that it didn’t go over. And it was busy busy busy. Truly them keeping an eye on my tab along with the actual fully packed bar was astonishing how organized they were. I want to make a special shout out to Zac and Zach for what amazing workers they are. They were so kind, friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to work with revolution and their staff again! Thank you for making such a memorable party. We will be talking about this forever!“

“2026 Chicago Brewery Journey – Fourth Stop
Stopped by Maplewood Brewery & Distillery and it’s clear right away this place is popular—very lively with a strong crowd and a great energy throughout. The beer selection is extensive, so there’s plenty to choose from.
One interesting note—the space had a noticeable coffee aroma. Not a bad smell by any means, but a little unexpected when you’re there for beer.
Overall, a fun and energetic stop with a lot to offer.“

“The ambiance, friendly atmosphere, quirky and yet comfortable vibe as well as absolutely exceptional beers. From porters, sours and mixed drinks… sets the standard of what kind of brewery I want to be at.“

“Great space, the band was playing folk music which made it very unique and made us feel like we were in a different place; the server was amazing and not only gave us unbiased opinions on the food but was very attentive and friendly. The food was hit and miss - the fried oysters were on the greasy side and were cooked at different temperatures. The Guinness pours were stellar which is what the main attraction was.“

“Suncatcher is The Place To Be.

Everyone working is friendly and knowledgeable. As a neighbor, I’m happy to have them. It’s a great gathering place to see a few friends, or a sunny time to spend by yourself.

As a beer drinker, I’m pleased at what Chicago has to offer and Suncatcher is in my top 3.

As a hoosier at heart, I love that they use Indiana malt.

“Hopewell has such a cute vibe! I loved the fact that they had a large selection of games for passing your time there as you enjoy the beer. The Lil Buddy was perfect. Just a little something. They also had super friendly bartender who was kind enough to give me a few stickers. I collect enamel pins, so was glad to buy one of those from the merch.“

“Amazing local brewery! They are dog friendly, and have something to drink for everyone. I love their watermelon beers and local food pop ups. We went there to watch the World Cup games and got to enjoy some free Turkish food. 10/10 would recommend!“

“This Bar and Pizzeria had been on my radar prior to leaving the UK, for a short break to Chicago to watch AC/DC. Kev and I weren't disappointed! Great hospitality, a wide selection of beers made on site and a 'cup and char' pizza to die for. Topped off with hot honey, it's one of the best pizzas I've tried. The 'Tommy o two legs' was my beer of choice with most having quirky names inspired by the friendly staff. A great location to visit and one that will be fondly remembered. “It got quite loud and packed on Saturday afternoon, which made conversation a challenge. Still, the selection of brews was impressive, and the outdoor seating area offered a bit more breathing room. We enjoyed ourselves overall, despite the energy!“

“Definition of a vibe. I've never been. craft beer guy but Monochrome offers a variety options to fit any preferred palate. The service is top tier and the atmosphere is perfect. The owner(s) are really cool down to earth. The one bald portly bartender is a blast“

“I had a slice of cheese pizza. I usually never get just cheese, but I didn't feel like having pepperoni which was the other slice option. The pizza was very thin, but not floppy. Kind of crunchy and a little chewy. The crust was crunchy and soft inside. I was pleasantly surprised by this slice.“

“Super cool space with gigantic beer garden!! Highly recommend this local NW side brewery for a quick beer or an afternoon or evening of drinking and maybe even brawling! Industrial-hip interior with large outdoor beer garden, where dogs are welcome. I have posted the beer and food menus from 9/17/26. Humongous beer selection. Though there are many breweries with better beer, the cool atmosphere is worth checking this one out!! We normally sit at the bar, so can’t comment on the service which, from reviews can be good to poor. Bathroom were clean.

“Had a free beer ticket from the adjacent Hotel Collaborative and found a very nice place at the bar, some WiFi, an outlet, a real nice local hazy IPA, and a strong pour of Buffalo Trace, accompanied by ice water and lime. Andrew, a mixologist, conversationalist, and Goose Looking Dude wearing aviator sunglasses look like they been taken off by Tom Cruze only moments after buzzin’ the carrier’s tower, was most excellent to advise me on beer and whisky options. Thank you, Andrew and crew. Nice place to land, plan a bit, reflect and enjoy the company of new friends. Wrigleyville has it down, I’ll tell you what.“

“Awesome other half brewery taproom and restaurant. Good choice of beers on tap and loads of cans in the fridge. Didn't have food but lots of it was coming out and looked good. Had a chat with the owners, all very friendly and so were staff. Its a bit out from downtown chicago, but you can get the number 8 bus for £2 and it stops 100 meters from bar ( see photo )“

“Haymarket is a pub on W. Randolph Street that we recently stopped by while waiting for our table at Au Cheval across the street to become available. They have a good sized indoor seating area as well as a few tables near the bar. Several tellies behind the bar showing sports games. Drink list includes a good selection of handcraft beers. We enjoyed a porter and blond that both pretty good, easy to enjoy while watching a bit of baseball and basketball on the evening. Would be happy to pop back in for another round if in the area if in the area again.“

“We tried Pho no. 1 Brewing tonight and we were really happy with it! We’ll be back again for sure! The Pho was a little sweeter than I expected, but it was my first time having it so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The beef skewers, egg rolls, and wings were amazing. All four of us left full and happy! Definitely recommend!“
