Our area is plagued by bad to mid at best Chinese food, and Moy Yuen is a shining star (5 stars!). Everything we order is always delish and cooked quickly. The phone order is efficient with no delays. Try orange chicken, general chicken, lo mein, Mongolian beef, and Singapore noodles. And don’t forget the egg roll. The place is no frills but consistently great above average Chinese food in the Western Suburbs.

We ordered KUNG BAO DELIGHT, and it was very tasty, and the portion was very large.
We also ordered COMBINATION FRIED RICE, and it tasted great, but I asked to make spicy, and they didn't prepare it properly.
We also ordered EGG ROLLS, and they were delicious and a good size, but the CRAB RAGOONS were good, but a little over-fried.

“We recently visited for my bday on 5/31. The decor is beautiful and the service was stellar! Everyone was attentive and friendly. Our hibachi chef was amazing. He was extremely entertaining and super accommodating. He made our hibachi dinner experience the best we have ever had. The food was perfect and great portion sizes. “This was my first time trying this place, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the dinner special with general tso’s chicken, and it was amazing!! I’m usually picky with chicken but this one was made so well, and the fried rice was perfect. I requested no egg in the fried rice and a vegetable egg roll, and they were so kind and considerate to not only honor my requests but label them too!! I was worried about this because not every place is careful enough, and it can ruin your whole meal when not done right but this place did. The food was delicious, piping hot (even though my DoorDash driver had to make multiple stops before mine!), and an amazing value for the amount of food you get. The Thai iced tea was the cherry on top! 10/10 thank you for a perfect comfort meal after a long day“

“So originally I was going to go close to my work to a Thai restaurant called Bree on Archer and Central Ave I just came from a long day of sitting on the floor measuring thresholds of doors outside and inside. Anyways I've seen this restaurant pastor by since most of the work was going this direction and so by the time we got out it was almost 1:00. So I decided to try this place and I was actually quite surprised. Ambience was like a hole in the wall retro Chinese restaurant with the traditiona Chinese l red lanterns and a goldfish with koi aquarium which is supposed to be a symbol of good luck. Anyways I went for lunch special and knowing a lot of other Chinese restaurants usually the lunch special is not portion-wise a full meal while you will be surprised for $1.095 to get the lunch special here because it's a full meal. I had the Mongolian beef which really to me look more like pepper steak than Mongolian beef but it was good but the portions were big likewise with the the fried rice and I even paid $2 extra for beef had I known I would have ordered extra appetizer Andre such as the pot stickers which was fried and surprisingly steamed but it was a combination of both the portions for that was big I had those to finish and take back to the office since I couldn't finish them. Also the lunch special comes with egg rolls. The egg rolls were just meh good it's typical Chinese egg roll. Deep fried and with bean sprouts. The wonton soup was actually pretty good if not delicious most of the time in other Chinese restaurants it's just the wonton and very little meat. This one actually had some pork meat and some onions. Other than that it was a good. I would come back again especially for their lunch specials I would just order that it's a cheap order for 1095 and you got a lot especially in this day and age where dining out for anything not just expensive Gibson steakhouse or even other Asian cuisine like Thai is over $20. I of course ordered more and I ended up spending almost $40 but next time I'll just order the lunch special and that order any extras. Interesting to see have a Latino Hispanic server served me in a Chinese restaurant LOL. But the staff in the kitchen is Asian.“

“We have been looking for a decent place for Chinese food where you can actually sit down and enjoy your food. The staff were all friendly. Decent menu to choose from. Food came out quickly and was good. We had the vegetable soup, egg drop soup, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, beef and broccoli, and the Mongolian beef. My drink was good, but it didn't taste like there was any alcohol in it. They also have tea when you come in. I placed an order to go and told them to make it spicy, but apparently, they missed that part, still a decent place, and we will definitely come back again.“

The owner ran outside to my van to see my kids and my husband because she remembers us as 19/20 year olds dating. She serves the best crab Rangoon and told us told us to order from the party trays to make sure our kids are fed. Very lovely lady and great food.“

Let me just say that eastern Tennessee does not have Chinese food on the same level as Chicago, and Mo's is one of my favorites. I stopped by for lunch and got the lunch special kung po beef, which came with a silky delicious cup of egg drop soup, fried rice or steamed rice (I prefer steamed), and one of their very tasty egg rolls. It was everything I remembered it to be, and one of the most satisfying Chinese meals I've had in a very long time. If anyone who works at Mo's is thinking about moving to the Alcoa, TN area, please do so and open a restaurant! I also have to add that I can't find good sushi unless you go to Knoxville, and I normally always get a shrimp crunchy roll, and will definitely get that next time I'm back in the area.
