“Lovely atmosphere! Delicious ice cream! I had the blueberry sorbet (dairy free) and it was absolutely delicious! Kind helpful service!

I wish the dairy-free sorbet section was labeled as such. I had to ask to know which were sorbets. A sign of foods available for dietary restrictions was provided but the ice creams themselves were not labeled.

“I have been coming here for years, a long time favorite. Came recently to celebrate my niece's birthday and as always it was crowded but we didn't mind the wait as it was beautiful to sit outside. 20 min wait. The waitress was not too pleasant and looked irritated with an attitude which isn't common. The food was great, the take home truffles amazing as always. I wouldn't stop coming because of the one bad waitress, maybe it was a bad day for her. Overall a great old fashioned place to enjoy!“

“Awesome little spot! My family and I stumbled over it just because it was a local spot which was just walking distance from where we live. Even though Ice cream can pretty much sell itself, this spot's customer service was on point. The lady helping us behind the counter was nice and helpful. Another guy came from around back to greet us and handed all 4 of my kids gum off the display rack. We all got ice cream or milkshakes, while I was waiting I noticed they had little Hispanic street food menu. I ended up ordering some "Elote" with Flaming Hot Cheetos. I would upload pictures, but I finished the elote before I could get home. We will definitively be back soon.“

“The establishment was nice and clean on the inside. The young lady that took my order was upset, meaning she had an attitude. But after we received our order we chose to sit outside on the benches in the back. We had to try to find a table that wasn't sticky. They should have someone to come out every hour or 1/2 hour to wipe the tables. Especially in the summer months. But the ice cream sundae was so good. And the pint I took home was butter pecan, it was made well. We had a good experience over all.“

We got a text saying they’ll be closed for the season on the 2nd, my daughter was so upset and cried, so I called to make sure they’d be open for Halloween since some smaller business will be closed that way we can go one last time and the guy who answered the phone was rude. Not sure if it was the owner, it sounded like an older man. My 6 year old loves this place and to be talked to rudely was upsetting. Luckily when we go in the staff is always so nice. But if that was the owner, that’s a shame.“

“This place is a gem! They make very tasty pizza . I ordered a large pepperoni thick crust pizza. It was delicious! The outside eating space is nicely organized and decorated. The prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place for great food!

Parking: You have drive around and look for street parking near the place.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are steps to climb in order to enter inside. The space inside is also too narrow and crowded for someone in a wheelchair to move around“

“I visited here yesterday for the first time and I absolutely loved it! First off, it has such a quaint vibe that is welcoming and calming. Then, the lady at the counter greeted me warmly and explained a bit about their options. I ended up going with a box of five truffles: traditional, cookies and cream, coconut, coffee, and strawberry. At first, I was a bit concerned about the price, but when I took that first bite, I realized it was worth it. Each of the truffles I tried were so delicious, genuinely the best chocolate I've had in so long. My favorite was the cookies and cream, as it had a perfect balance of the cookie crumbles with the chocolate inside. I also really enjoyed the coconut, which is saying a lot as I don't usually like coconut, but this truffle had the perfect amount of coconut where it was not overwhelming but complemented the chocolate. The worker also gave us a free sample of their fudge gelato which tasted great as well! She also mentioned that they add a little something special in the boxes if it's a gift for someone, so this would be a great gift for any chocolate lovers you know. Definitely worth the price and 5/5 stars all around, will be going back very soon!“

“I just came from the Daily Scoop with some friends and let me tell you, the hot dog in itself was GOOD! Born and raised in the city of Chicago I won’t eat anything that’s not Vienna Beef with my poppy seed bun and they delivered! We were able to meet the owner Chuck and the other staff and talk about solid people right there. Super hospitable and friendly, clean environment and I will be going back to try the ice cream.
