“This place is a gem! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by how kind and knowledgeable the staff was. The girl who helped me was so sweet, super patient, and explained everything perfectly. You can really tell they care about the customer experience and make sure you feel comfortable and taken care of. Now let’s talk about the lemonades—WOW. Infused and delicious, it was honestly one of the best lemonades I’ve ever had. And the baked goods? Incredible. Soft, flavorful, and just the right amount of kick. “Alina was wonderful she was extremely knowledgeable and every cup of coffee was so smooth I had the cherry blast and it was super smooth not to sweet perfect balance and for those who don’t like strong coffee it’s a great option. My husband had the Cafe Borgia and omg that was the best espresso I’ve had in a long time super smooth just the right hint of chocolate. The atmosphere was so nice she had games and she’s very friendly to talk to so we felt very welcomed. Alina also offered us pastries to try they were so good we really liked the cinnamon pastry it tasted like a a churro it was so soft moist and delicious 🤤 we also tried the lemon pastry wow it was so good we are not from this area but we are happy we got to meet Alina and try her wonderful coffee 10/10 recommend“

“I come here because they do pour-overs. Really Good pour-overs. (If they're busy, multi-tasking staff may miss the correcting timing so the extractions are suboptimal and may alter the taste in the negative.) But still a great coffee - I'm nitpicking.

I enjoy this more than the other places in Libertyville because the barista's really know their products - every one I've talked with has been able to discuss each coffee with knowledge that helps me learn. And oh so friendly, nice people who work there.

Pastry choices are limited, so-so in taste, and too sugary for me (donuts, muffins) They could use some nice croissants, chocolate croissants, morning buns, etc. If they partnered with Hewn Bakery it would be perfect. (I will often get coffee to go, and bring my own Hewn to eat outside at the benches.)“

“This coffee shop has the best atmosphere - inside AND outside! The inside was very clean and modern. Baked goods (cinnamon) were fresh and delicious as was the hot chocolate! Friendly staff.
The outside was my favorite part: Great for people-watching (large corner lot). Heaters were installed ON the awnings, which covered the entire table, and not just on a tall pole on part of the table. The best part was the doggy Biscuit Bar - awesome, varied dog treats and water on an outdoor cart. See photos

“What an adorable place!!! Eclectic , cozy look and vibe, they have pour over coffee which is what i chose, soooo good and really unique latte concoctions I have not seen anywhere else. There is a covered outdoor patio, with rocking chairs, a few chairs in front porch, ofcourse interior seating. Some standard tables and chairs but also couches and benches. The parking in back is tight. I recommend checking this place out if you want a different vibe than the usual Cafe.“

“Had a tea at this place, I did. It was surely a very nice place to have something warm especially amidst the below freezing temperatures. This is also located within walking distance from a Metra station, which is very nice.

“We've been to this location ballpark 4-5 times in 2 months since we found that there's a Vietnamese food place nearby! The ginger chicken bahn mi is superior, absolutely recommend with jalapenos! (They aren't too spicy, but they add a layer of delicious with the lemongrass chicken!) The fresh shrimp spring are also just delicious, the peanut sauce that comes with is a REALLY nice consistency I didn't know I needed- it's perfect for taking a bite, drizzling some into the roll, and having another bite. Most peanut sauces are more "dipping" sauces, this is way more brilliant. They also carry a sparkling yuzu and white peach drink by Moshi that is REALLY delightful, and perfect with the bahn mi.

My guy ordered the beef pho last time, and I tried it, and I wanted to steal it, but my chicken curry was also really good, so I definitely want to order these again! There's a few other locations around the area, but under a slightly different name, Lotus Banh Mi. Guy and I feel like the consistency between the 2 locations are excellent! HIGHLY recommend!

The atmosphere at this location is great, it's off the street, with parking just around the corner, and the location has a very comfortable, fresh, feeling. We're hoping to stop by for lunch one afternoon, get some things we haven't tried yet, and walk around the area some- there's a great park about a block away!

“Visited this Starbucks location in the morning and had a great experience. The atmosphere was so relaxing and welcoming, and the workers were all very friendly. “Outside seating! We visit multiple days a week for breakfast for the great service, including an amazingly fast kitchen. Their potatoes are the best around--tender inside and crispy outside. One of our favs is the Country Fried Steak. Try the biscuits and gravy too!!!
