“Didn't actually go into this Starbucks, went to the Travelling Food Pantry in the adjacent parking lot! ????Parking: Easy to enter & exit via Sheridan Road!Wheelchair accessibility: Some crumbling asphalt in areas, but easily avoidable!“
“This is the BEST McDonalds! The food is served hot and delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The managers and owner should be very proud. This McDonald's is worth traveling out of your way to enjoy the service and food. My favorite food is the Quarter Pounder with Cheese. They also make a great Mccafe Carmel Frappe.“
“Me, my fiancé and our friend came here to check it out on a rainy day and super glad we did! The three workers who helped us were super chill and made it a very comfortable experience. We all got different infused lemonades that were super tasty! We will definitely be back to try their other flavors and pastries. If you have been considering coming in, it’s definitely worth it :)“
“Unreal! We accidentally fell upon this place this morning and upon entering my jaw dropped and mouth started watering instantly. We ordered a big bag full of both savory and sweet pastries and we ate everything while making lots of mmmmmm sounds throughout. The coffee is great too. We are just visiting Chicago and leave tomorrow but are planning on dropping by again for one more visit before taking off back to Kentucky. All of the pastries and goodies are the perfect blend of flaky and crunchy and gooey and soft and all the right places with a different taste in every bite! Yuummmmmmm....“
“I absolutely love this place. Coffee is amazing (some of the best local coffee), food and baked goods are delicious. I only wish that the space indoors was slightly larger because it gets really crowded during the winter months. During the summer, it's perfect - outdoor seating in the back plus lots of benches in the park across the coffeeshop.“
“I am Zach Mostow and I am draw and bubble's obsessed! They have amazing staff, food, drinks, and the place puts you in a great mood. It’s a magical experience with nice lights, music, scenery and is the perfect place for breakfast or whenever you want a snack or drink.“
“We stopped in one afternoon to Harmony Coffee Bar. You know what harmony is ? A combination of things or parts that forms a connected and unified whole. That just about sums up our visit to this adorable cafe. I ordered the Gold Crush Latte which is topped with Dalgona which melted into the latte giving it a slightly sweet and mellow flavor. My companion ordered an iced Gold Crush Latte so they could enjoy the Dalgona as it slowly released its sugary cookie flavor into the coffee beverage. As we savored our drinks in the pleasant and cozy seating, they prepared our Croffle, a combination of croissant and waffle, and it was crispy and buttery and caramelly. All in all, a harmonious mix of flavors and textures that added up to a very pleasant midday interlude.“
“Tala Coffee Roasters was an excellent choice to find quality espresso, a fun but professional atmosphere, and knowledgeable staff who care about producing great results. The espresso was well balanced with amazing texture and the milk-based vanilla latte was just as good. It was a welcomed treat finding delicious old fashioned donuts and other pastries at the counter. If you are looking for whole bean coffee, these folks have what you’re looking for. Their labels provide you plenty of information about the coffee that is in the bag and most importantly; the bag has a roasted on date! This is something that a lot of roasters forget, but if you like to geek out over coffee, it is important to know just how fresh your beans are in order to get the best results from your coffee.“
“5-stars for lattes. We wanted food but decided against it because there was a wait and only one person behind the counter, making things a bit too slow. We were thinking about sitting for a while but the metal chairs are cold and uncomfortable and that part of the mall is cavernous and noisy, so we chose to walk around instead.“
“Went in a few days ago and was greeted by the owner who totally over-served my 2 kids in the best way possible. We ordered minis and he gave huge portions with lots of the toppings we ordered. You could see he did it because he thought it was fun and wanted to see my girls happy. That's a perfect local business, and one that serves up delicious treats alongside the excellent and warm service.“
“It's hard to get a bahn mi to be well balanced and I think this place gets it right. I'm a sucker for ginger chicken and it was great, the pickled veg rocked and the bread (arguably the most important component) was outstanding. Liked the counter style ordering and the tea I got was pretty good, I don't know tea so I got no notes. Nice music too and service was quick.“
“This is almost one and only brunch restaurant nearby in Glenview. I went there on Saturday around 12pm for lunch and the restaurant was full of the customers! It seemed like all the families and friends were coming here after church. We were sitting next to a table that was celebrating the grandma's birthday who just turned into her 94 year old! It was so warm and sweet.Elly's Pancake House was for all ages, from kids, teenagers, young couples to 40s and elderly. This place is definitely being loved by everyone.I ordered Chicken and Bacon Waffle and my boyfriend ordered Skillet, as always, and he said Elly's Skillet is almost the Best Number 1 Skillet he've ever had. The Waffle was sooo great and their side salad was very huge. I mean, their waffle is really different than others - it's thick, crisp and delicious... Also it actually contains bacon in the waffle dough....Yum!We also had some pancakes on the side and it was good too.Only one minor thing that they can improve is their staffing. I think they need more servers, I didn't get a refill for my coffee during my entire meal. Our server was too busy taking care of so many tables.Nonetheless, I will visit this place next week again!Parking: Parking lot is large but always filled with cars! Because it's so popularKid-friendliness: Several Awesome Options for Kids“
“I’m telling you guys, this store waffle are so satisfying. The taste, the texture, the crunchy. Take this from a guy who doesn’t eat waffles. I was blown away. To the point I have to write a review cause whoever is coming to try must must try there waffle. I had the salted caramel and butter and dayummmm. SPIRIT LIFTED 5/5Parking: Right in front, 5 to 10 parking spots“
“Hansa always does such a great job! Their staff are so nice and I tend to love their seasonal lattes. I look forward to my Hansa mornings (or evenings) and like getting my work done in their cafe while enjoying their drinks. I do wish they had a loyalty program, though!“
“We love this place! Food is great, service is great and it’s always clean. The reason why I did not give them 5 starts is because they do not have a baby changing station!I already told them, but seems like there is no interest about it. We have a baby and it’s a bummer having to cross the street to change his dirty diaper at Starbucks.“
“Came here everyday for my daily fix while in the area for work. I got to spend some time the first two days talking with the owner and one of her daughters. I immediately was made to feel welcome and a part of the family. They roast onsite, the coffee is amazing and the pastries are fantastic. I brought two bags of their coffee home with me. Anytime I am back in this area, I will be going back. Go support a local small business by having a great cup of coffee.“
“The ambiance is rustic and old-style themed. A lot of woody vibes all around. I ordered an almond milk latte. I was surprised to see the look was good but taste was a bit dark and too much. The beans were good but tasted burnt. The notes of the coffee were not as sweet as I had thought they would be. Overall, the latte was smooth and velvety but lacked in taste. I would say a few tweaks and the coffee would be better.“
“Hometown Coffee and Juice in Glencoe is a cozy spot that’s perfect for anyone who loves tasty, healthy food like salads and avocado toast, and their coffee is just amazing—it’s mild and not burnt, making it one of the best around! It’s right by the train station, making it easy to get to if you’re walking or taking the train because finding a parking spot can be really tough. Also, it’s a very popular place, so it gets super busy. If you’re planning to meet someone here, try to come at least fifteen minutes early so you can find a place to sit. Despite the crowd, the delicious coffee and great atmosphere make it all worth it. Just remember to give yourself enough time for parking and grabbing a good spot!“
“I saw this place online through a search in the area for healthy foods. The physical place is very nice. The atmosphere is great too! The menu is much larger and diverse than you would expect from a small healthy food establishment. The food tasted great! I had the avocado toast, see pic. The only issue I had was that I received a single piece of GF bread with the avocado and egg on top for $16! I expected at least twice this for the price. This was definitely less food than I expected for the money! I suggest they reconsider the portion size for that much money. Otherwise, I really liked the place!“
“I went to Eggsperience Breaskfast and Lunch in Elmwood Park, IL. This is same company name but in different location in Wheeling, IL. Both are similar food but different beverages. This place is modern, middle size building and very positive vibe when it's bad day!Macchiato cafe with Carmel flavor taste so natural sweet and less bitter. Southwest Benedict turns out so perfect like healthier. The waitress is so nice and patient to communicate with me and my friend.“
“What a cute Cafe! Delicious food, a kind atmosphere, and a picture of dinosaurs by the bathrooms, what more could you want?Definitely a spot worth checking out. The inside of Central Station Coffee & Tea is intimate and a wonderful destination to catch up with a friend.“
“The date cardamom latte, I asked for oat milk, was redolent of spice, with a cute heart in the foam. The croissant was soft, rather than flaky, but I'm not complaining because there wasn't a crumb left to be had. Solid offerings, friendly staff, efficient service.“
“Absolutely love everything about this spot. The staff is awesome, the food is incredible and the beverages and drinks are great. They even serve alcohol. Their soups & chili, hot sandwiches and pastries are exceptional. The source organic chicken and fresh eggs from from Harrisons; bagels from Kauffman, different dairy and butter from Wagner Farm, pastries from Bennistons and etc. Truly a cool spot to read a book, work on your laptop or just sit with a friend and chat. They get into themed items for holidays and go out to decorate. Also have coordinated events too. Kathy the owner truly knows how to run a great establishment. Very kid friendly and excellent prides for the value of what you get. Plenty of parking and a block from the library, train station and a park. My only grip is that the bathroom need a little more attention. They also have a reward system too eirh gracious cash back and a drive thru. Also have gluten free option. Great variety of fresh items. Truly a gem to have in Glenview.“
“I have had 9 different teas + a sample pack with a bunch of others from Adagio Teas. I'm a fruit tea person mostly but started drinking green teas for caffeine. I wanted something that was easy/pleasant to drink like a fruit tea and have been very satisfied with Adagio Teas.I think Adagio makes nice quality tasty tea. They have a lot of choice, which is a bit tough if you are like me and easily overwhelmed, but the sample packs are useful and efficient for navigating that. Having out what I like (using the samplers), I find reordering easy and convenient.I like the citron + citrus mint green teas and their jasmine teas. I also enjoy the fruit teas, although the ones in the pack I got (Orchard Herbals I think) taste pretty much the same :). Some of the green teas from the sample pack were a bit bitter or grassy, but the pack helped me figure out which ones work for me so I recommend it nonetheless. The custom tea blends are fun. I got one as a gift and like it, but there are a lot so I don't know how I would pick one myself. There is a filtering function to search through custom blends but again a lot of choice and tough to sort through IMO.“
“It’s a lovely bakery. I’ve had their cakes, macarons and pastries. My new favorite is the ube latte!Would love to give 5 stars however their customer service could use some work. The young lady working on Sunday 3/3 was very rude to my husband and I.“
“Got in there near the end of the day. Selection was pretty picked through. But that was to be expected. Staff was very attentive and Ashley developed a special price for the remaining donuts that we selected. Went out of the ordinary for a great experience.“
“This is located next to Woori Village. Huge parking lot. The bakery/cafe looked spacious upon entering. We only came here to check out their bread selection. We ended up getting a variety. Prices are not expensive, the size of the bread is not like a pea size. I feel like people use the word “expensive” or “pricey” these days, just because it’s not less than $1. They also have coffee, teas, cakes, and bingsoo. The woman at the register was very nice. The shop was clean.“
“This Peet's is usually quite busy as it is situated squarely in the middle of downtown Evanston. I would say the most outstanding feature of this Peet's is the service. Everyone is uniformly friendly, prompt, and helpful. Lots of smiles. Seats may be hard to find as Northwestern students usually plant themselves in their tables and stay there for a good part of the day. It's better when the patio in front of the store opens in Spring. The drip coffee is fine with half-priced refills, and there are an assortment of breakfast sandwiches, pastries , and muffins. Make sure you talk to the server about enrolling in the rewards program which is quite good.“
“TL;DR 5/5: This is how a café should be.Food 5/5: Spring Pea was the soup of the day on each of 2024 March 20 and 21. White cream decorated the vibrant, green soup as a barista would an artful latte and the colors enhanced a rich and textured soup which included strips of Genoa salami. The Rosemary Ham & Cheddar Savory Crepe, accompanied by a vinaigrette-topped salad, added further taste and temperature -- heavy and warm from the savory crepe, light and chilled from the salad -- to the meal. Next, while the Classic Bennie (Canadian bacon, poached eggs, with house salad) was also filling, the Denver Omelet (bell peppers, onion, rosemary ham, cheddar, and substituting chips for house salad) beat all of the above with not only its sunny eggs and bright red bell peppers but also its delicate flavor. And to drink, a hot, Honey Lavender Latte ("heavenly" was how I described it to a server who asked how everything was), proved to be popular for good reason.Service 5/5: Dining in was quasi counter-based, where one orders and pays at the counter, receives utensils and a number to set at their table, and has their meal brought to them and finished dishes cleared away by a server who may ask how the diner's meal was. Or at least that's how it went with me, with never a lag or rush. Great job.Atmosphere 5/5: Side street parking by this café was available. Inside it was fairly busy but not packed. And the interior was bright and airy, clean and comfortable, with tables and chairs thankfully not giving even a hint of violent wobbling, unlike those of some other eateries.“
“I have now visited this place a few times. I was here when they first opened and they needed to work out the kinks. I visited again when their pastries seemed to only come out of the refrigerated shelves and now they have a case with pastries. The two women working were nice when I arrived both greeting me separately when I walked in. One worked solely on drive thru orders and didn't help out the main counter if there was no one in the drive thru. The other working the main counter took her time making my drink of choice: hot mocha with oatmilk and an extra pump of chocolate (not a coffee drinker here). She filled my mug to the brim with artistic yumminess. It's a fairly open concept inside with two Jeni's ice cream coolers along one wall and a refrigerated cooler with juice cold brew canned coffees, bagels, fruit and other items. There's plenty of seating and plenty of space so you aren't on top of others. They have bistro tables, high chairs with a counter along two windows, low tables for 2/4/6 people for privacy to collaboration, and they have comfortable chairs and couches with coffee tables. It's a great place to start your day, conduct business, meet up with family and friends or to just kick back with a nice cup of Joe and a decent nosh.“
“Stopped by for a late night boba run as this is one is open late. It is small but they have a wide variety of options and they have some seating but It is very popular. There were no tables available because it was packed. Parking can get tricky depending on how busy it is, you may need to park in the back. I ordered a regular size brown sugar milk tea with tapioca boba. It was on the sweeter side than I'm use to. I enjoyed the tapioca balls they had a good consistency to them. I'd be curious to try some other flavors and items on their menu.“
“The interior and vibe is amazing. Ladies who took my order were very nice and friendly . They even gave me to try their sample teas, so that I can decide if I want sweet one or not. Their earl grey milk tea is yummy , best if you try it without sugar.“
“Besides the amazing donuts, the grinders are delicious. The ingredients are fresh and the sandwiches are well made and huge. The employee behind the counter was very helpful and delightful! We will be frequenting this establishment even more than we previously did.“
“I love the music here, I love the gorgeous atmosphere, I love the servers and the owners. Get whatever u want to drink and a snack and enjoy the gorgeous alley and bar and Lake Bluff sidewalk. I wish I could get here more often, maybe it's better I don't!“
“Love kung fu tea!! But especially this location. The ambience is so nice and gives such a welcoming feel, not to mention the space is so large. The employees are always super nice, and always make sure your drink is made well! The tapioca itself never disappoints and every drink I have had from here is so so good!“
“This is probably my third or fourth visit in the last six months. The service is fantastic. The food is fantastic but the fact is you can never enjoy it in store. There is limited seating. But every time I’ve been there the two top three tops and six tops have all been occupied by a single person on a laptop. I kindly asked a person if they would share. They would not share. I know this is no fault of the owners. But maybe a sign should be put up so people that want to come and enjoy the food with families will be able to sit down.“
“Excellent staff! Accidentally ordered to the wrong store and they were so kind and understanding. Helped me fix the issue right away. The boba is always delicious. Would always recommend! Also — all their drinks are lactose free (♡ thank u from someone who hates having to pay more for alt. Dairy options) I’ve ordered here many times and will continue to order here!Dietary restrictions: Heaven for anyone who’s lactose intolerant.“
“A well-needed casual cafe in Lake Forest outside of the typical Starbucks offerings. Great size, nice patio in the warmer months. Menu is pretty large. Coffee, smoothies, and pastries are fantastic (the cookies are quite decadent). Service is great - while you order at the counter, your food is brought to your table (and cleaned up afterwards)! My only gripe is that the entrees are pretty bland. Bagels are flavorless, sandwiches need more spreads/seasoning. It's like the don't use salt/butter or something. They are fine, but quite expensive for being mediocre. I guess you are paying for the service more than the food. 2 coffees, 2 breakfast sandwiches, and 1 pastry to share between my wife and I was close to $50 before tip...“
“West Town Bakery opened another location! They have branched out to the suburbs and created an awesome space with a connection to OKAY dispensary. This place is awesome. The bakery continues to impress and by the way has the most FABULOUS gluten free selections, I LOVE the cake balls! There is also a very cool inviting lounge attached to OKAY which I highly recommend visiting as well. Now I hear they are expanding and opening a new location in Evanston in early 2024, can't wait to see that. Nice job West Town, keep up the good work, I will see you soon!Dietary restrictions: BEST gluten free baked goods EVER!“
“The Churos were seriously delicious, crunchy, sweet and nutty. The variety of toppings and sauces adds to the deliciousness! The place is small, looked like its geared for to go orders only. Orders take about 10-15 minutes since they make it fresh every order. The staff was friendly, recommended!“
“Always love KFT especially when it's so close to me.And this location is a nice sit down place to study/relax with friends but is limited on seating.I always get the Wintermelon classic tea with 50% sweetness, but I tried the Strawberry milk tea today.Definitely recommend this drink for super sweet tooth people but this drink was wayyy too sweet for my liking. Even with 0% sugar, it tastes like it's 100% sweet so if you like less sweet in general, the strawberry milk tea is a no go.But the bobaristas were really nice and let me exchange for no charge because I didn't like the sweetness. Will always be coming back for my boba fix.“
“Gloria Jeans Coffee at Hawthorn Mall offers a delightful coffee experience with its diverse range of flavors. The coffee is exceptionally tasty, satisfying varying preferences. The ambiance is well-decorated, creating a pleasant atmosphere for coffee enthusiasts. The availability of comfortable seating near the coffee counter adds to the overall experience, making it an inviting space to relax. The staff at Gloria Jeans Coffee is commendable, providing good service and contributing to a positive customer experience. In summary, it's a nice place to enjoy a flavorful cup of coffee, surrounded by appealing decor and friendly staff.“
“This place is amazing not only the food like my favorites chocolate chip cookies or thelemon poppyseed scone but also the staff is so kind and friendly that I wish I lived closer so I can come here everyday. My favorite coffee shop for sure!“
“I was there 1/15 for mom’s birthday and first time trying White chocolate mocha, it was amazing and the foam was so good, they don’t do it the same here in Occoe (Florida) ☹️☹️☹️ you guys In Chicago keep doing excellent “
“I have been getting Alchemy coffee beans delivered to my home weekly for several months and the freshness of locally roasted beans can't be beat. I grind for both drip and espresso and love the selection of single origin Alchemy offers. I haven't had a variety I didn't love. I can't recommend Alchemy enough. Local gem!“
“Glenview Grind is a great coffee spot. They have many drink and food options to choose from including smoothies, coffee, and sandwiches. Moreover, they have a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating as well. They also have a drive thru option which is very convenient. The inside is very clean and is a nice place to go and do some work. The staff is also very friendly and prompt when making the orders.“
“lovely spot! friendly staff, unique drinks (black sesame latte is a must) with common asian flavors, hosts lots of community events. lots of pastries, and they're starting to make filipino dinner plates too! just make sure to check their Instagram account for their updated hours.“
“I had the pleasure of visiting this boba shop recently, and despite the initially daunting line, the wait time was surprisingly short, clocking in at around 15 minutes. What impressed me most was the efficiency of the staff; they were clearly well-staffed and managed to keep the line moving smoothly, even with a large crowd of high school students. While the boba itself wasn't the most extraordinary I've ever tasted, the drinks were certainly satisfying. They struck a good balance between flavor and sweetness, making them enjoyable treats. What's interesting is that I've been here before during quieter periods, and while the shop was relatively empty, the service speed remained consistent, which speaks to their commitment to efficiency. Overall, despite the initial wait and the boba being just above average, I would still be inclined to come back. The overall experience was pleasant enough, and knowing that the service is reliable makes it worth another visit.“
“I love coming to this neighborhood cafe for breakfast and lunch. The soup is delicious. I loved the chicken salad sandwich and salad was simple but tasty.. The cafe is cozy with a fire and the outdoor space is the best in the NorthShore with quiet views and room for the kids to play.“
“A hidden gem, hole in the wall, donut shop… Nostalgic, because this place definitely used to be a Dunkin’, and maintains the 90’s Dunkin’ vibe like a time capsule. However, their donuts are better. In my experience, they’ve never been stale. Always delicately fried and perfectly sweet. Mexican foodies can also find pan dulce.“
