“Our server, Jake, is down to earth, personable, and goes above and beyond the call of duty. We visit Chicago on a regular basis since moving to IL, and Jake is by far the best server we’ve met In the area.
Food is great, drinks are generous, and the fried ice cream is just the ticket after a mission burrito. Will definitely be back. Give Jake a raise!“

“I took my mom here this morning, it was her first time. I had to leave before she did, but she called me and said Matt and Josh helped her get her things on the bus when it came to get her. She has very poor vision so it means so much to me that they did that. They walk around and chat with all the patrons. The BEST customer service we’ve ever had. And the coffee was amazing as always.“

“This was our first visit, looking for a place to grab lunch on a Friday of running errands. Drove by and knew we had to stop when we saw the doors were up. Great food and such a selection of drinks! The bartender Nicole was AMAZING, called us by our names the whole time which made us out of towners feel welcomed! Food was delicious and not a basic menu. Highly recommended!!“

“Possibly the best Thin crust pizza I've had...will Absolutely Return!!
My friend convinced me to try this place. We were in town visiting, but didn't have more than an hour or so til we had to meet up with everyone from the group...
This place ended up being a perfect spot with Great Pizza and Salads!
You basically get to build your own pizza...from thin or thick crust, to your base sauce, all the way through your cheeses and toppings.
The pizza turned out perfect. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the flow/vibe of the restaurant fits perfectly with what they have going on!
Highly recommend checking out!!“

“The second time to dine at John's and it is now our favorite restaurant in Rockford and possibly the whole world. Calamari was exquisite, best I've ever had. Seafood stuffed red snapper was phenomenal. My husband said that his pizza may very well be the best he's ever had. We are from Freeport, but we will be driving to Rockford just to eat at John's.“

“I ordered two pies to pick up at the Roscoe location on Friday, November 8th. when I got there they only had one of my pies and had sold the other one. I was on my way out of town and needed both my pies but was left having to figure out how I was going to get one in the literally 5 minutes i had to spare before leaving. The worst part was all I was offered was a "I'm sorry" or let me see if Perryville has one you can go get. I didnt have time, nor should have had to drive down to Perryville... they offered to take nothing off my purchase, a free pie at a later date or anything. This same sort of thing happened last time they were open in Roscoe, I thought maybe the customer service would have improved this time. I'd be leary to order if you 100% need your items because you may or may not get them, leaving you screwed😥“

“Overall the experience was pretty good. Service was good, it was a bit hectic when it started to pick up. I had the GOAT burger - the bun was fresh and delicious, goat cheese was very little and you couldn’t taste it, but it’s the name of the burger… the patty was plenty in size, but very dry and didn’t do Eickman’s meat any justice. The fries were outstanding. The Filipino Chicken Adobo was very delicious, the egg and sauce were perfect together. Chicken was perfectly cooked. The Lumpiang Shanghai was a great starter to the meal. The Ube cheesecake was ok, but not very flavorful. The Aluna Water was surprisingly refreshing and worth the $10. I haven’t been here since it changed brands, overall decent experience and would try again when not so busy for an event.“

“Amaxing food. Great service. Great prices. Had dinner in the outdoor igloo. Beautiful atmosphere. Filet mignon was the best we ever had. Everything insane. The chef is amazing! Appetizers: Lobster Bisque. Buffalo Shrimp. Mozzarella Burrata. All amazing but the Burrata...OH MY ....DONT PASS IT UP!!!“
“My wife and I dined in last night we had the Soul food plate, jerk chicken pasta and Soul rolls. Let’s just say they didn’t disappoint. Everything was nice hot and fresh and seasoned perfectly our server was a younger girl and she was very friendly. I recommend this place to any and Everyone that Loves delicious food and service, we’ll definitely be back again soon.“

“had a great experience at Olivo Garden today. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. What really made the visit special was the excellent service.
I want to give a special thanks to Grace, our server. She was very kind, patient, and professional. When I told her that I am still learning English, she took the time to explain the dishes clearly and made sure I understood everything. Her respectful attitude made the whole experience easier and more comfortable.

“One of the best breakfast places I've eaten at. A friendly, inviting room, outstanding service, a wide variety of unique choices for breakfast—not just the standard eggs, pancakes, benedicts, omelettes, and waffles/French toast. You can get sweet/savory combos, many different benedicts, oatmeal with lots of topping choices, crepes, and "Mediterranean Breakfasts." Plenty of gluten-free choices too.\n\nEspecially tasty was the fresh squeezed strawberry-orange juice. Just the right balance of sweet and tart. I loved the banana bread French toast with fresh strawberries, bananas, and pecans. An agreeable change of pace for a side meat other than bacon or sausage was a generous slice of ham off the bone, a.k.a. "real ham."“

“My boyfriend and I were planning a road trip and searched for restaurants along our route. The photos for this restaurant on Google drew our eye so we decided to check it out. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious and just as beautiful as in the photos. We'll definitely be back again!“
