“Let’s get one thing straight. People, no one is perfect. Every single restaurants have its own problems. I have been going to this restaurant for at least 3 years. This is one of my favorite of places. Never had one single issue that I can say is worthwhile giving them a bad review. Sometimes people do reviews based on one single visit. Try to give this people a little a break and maybe another chance, if you are still not happy go to along with whatever is going to make you happy or where you can maybe complaint and get a free meal.“

“Amazing gem in Bloomingdale. The menu has many choices including gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, lactose free, and for us carnivores. Drink menu has sake, handcrafted beer, wines, cocktails, bottled beer, teasing, bubble teas and more. We started with egg rolls and pancake scallion bites. They provide four sauces! My favorite is the chili oil, but there is also ginger, Wasabi and sweet sauce. All made in house. Entrees were sesame peanut noodles and Mongolian beef. So good. We will be back.“

“Decided to have dinner here a few nights ago and was very pleased with our decision. For appetizers we had edamame and takoyaki. Mains, I had spicy beef ramen with a big beef rib in it, my husband had beef curry rice, my daughter had pork katsu rice, and her fiance spicy chicken ramen. Everything was delicious. You can have the spice level adjusted to your preference, I ordered Mild and one of us ordered Fire (spiciest, using habanero peppers). Free refills on sodas. Service was fast and our server was very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of parking out front. Definitely recommend it. We would come back here again. 👍“

“great food. bit of a wait but worth it. fresh crispy tempura with a sweet tendon sauce. the udon has a beautiful smokey broth with great noodles, add a bit of their onikasu for a bit of spice and extra flavor.“

“Ordered carry-out from the Vernon Hills location and loved it! Fantastic quality ramen, flavorful broth and still hot after getting it home. Miso Ramen and Taiwan Ramen are fantastic, but beware that single pepper icon, because it’s no joke! (And I say this as someone who grew up eating spicy food 🙂) Delicious, but intense! I would LOVE to see a milder version of the Taiwan Ramen (or at least a way to adjust the heat, like the Spicy Miso), because the flavor was truly amazing and addictive.“

“I made my first visit to Prime Sushi & Ramen today. It won't be my last. I ordered negihama maki (yellowtail roll) and salmon roll for pickup. My order was ready on time, the portions of fish were high quality and generous, and they got my special request (no wasabi) right. I haven't had the dine-in experience yet, but they occupy the former Amore Mio space, which is lovely. I'm delighted to have another fine restaurant in that space, and I look forward to becoming a regular!“

“For someone who loves eating out and loves ramen it is very hard to find a spot that me and my friends can agree on that can help accommodate my halal diet, but this place made it possible for me and my friends to have a place that can accommodate all of us. The halal spicy ramen was amazing and I enjoyed every bite, the atmosphere was amazing and calm, and the service was top tier where I didn’t have to wait long to get my order taken or wait too long for the food. “Hands down one of the best Tonkatsu Bentos around. The pork cutlet was crispy, golden, and incredibly juicy. Sankyu Sushi & Izakaya does an amazing job honoring traditional Japanese flavors while delivering consistent quality. A five-star experience every time.“

“Been going here for years. Their miso ramen with char siu pork rice bowl always hits the spot! If going with someone, I highly recommend one person finds a table while the other orders. Saves time and stress of trying to find a spot to sit on busy weekends.“

“I recently ordered a salmon poke bowl with an added extra tuna portion. The overall quality and presentation were good—the ingredients tasted fresh and the bowl looked appealing.

However, I was quite disappointed with the portion size of the fish. Even with the additional tuna, the amount of salmon and tuna provided was noticeably small. Compared to other places, their regular portions are often larger than what I received here as a “double” portion, especially considering the extra charge.

The same applied to some of the toppings like cucumber and avocado, which were also quite minimal. For the price, I expected a more generous serving.“

“Sushi is no longer served here which surprised me but instead I chose a teriyaki shrimp lunch meal which was excellent. I also LOVED the golden shrimp and will be back for that!!! My food was hot with decent portions, and the lemonade tasted freshly-made and tart. I think she may have used pure ingredients as I watched her make a pitcher at the bar area. I also liked the music which surprised me- 90's R&B slow jams. Super chill and quiet atmosphere here with interesting and unique decor throughout.“
