Sweet Home Gelato was the most compassionate and flexible vendor. It is not easy to cancel a wedding, unfortunately many vendors were not as accommodating. But even when it gets cold out, still fun to go to even during a brutal Chicago area winter.This is probably the one ice cream parlor around compared to others that has a huge emphasis on toppings/creations which is definitely their strong point.Always a great selection of flavors between their regular year round and seasonal flavors, prices still seem reasonable although the high-end ice cream chain has never really been cheap and customer service remains consistently good in an always spiffy clean/sanitized atmosphere.CSC obviously does battle with competitors such as Oberweis up the road and Graeter's. When it comes to taste and quality, this place lives up to the price and my kids are well worth it anytime of the year.Only con (which doesn't drag down a 5⭐️ rating) about this place is the parking lot which can be greatly limited especially on wknd nights when nearby Giordano's gets packed. You may find yourself having to park east across the street from Starbucks and walking a bit of distance.“

He was so proud to have designed a donut (which was actually just the cookies and cream option from the menu) but he watched them make it and decorate it and then showed it to everyone he passed. He said they were the BEST donuts he’s ever had! I had the cold brew with sweet cream which was solid.“

It's more of a smoothie than an ice cream, which explains why the guy looked at me weird when I asked for a spoon ?. So besides getting over the difference in consistency, it's Really Good! I started eating it with a spoon and then just gave up and stuck the straw in ?. It's a nice twist on the original Mangonada. I will definitely buy again!“

“1st time visiting this establishment. Very friendly and nostalgic atmosphere. Had their 1/3 burger and onion rings. It was fantastic!! Best burger I've had in a long time. Actually meaty and fresh not one of those frozen smash burgers. Can't wait for my next visit. Hope to try something new, if I can convince myself to skip the burgers. And did I mention very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!“

“My vehicle broke down on the way to pick up the food we ordered. They called me when it took longer than the time we selected. And they redid part of our order so it was fresh. Really appreciate the people here. It was just a bad day and they really went out of their way to do something for us.“

“I was very happy with the employees that worked there, but i gave it a one-star for the food. I was very disappointed in the twist cone I received. It was like eating whipped cream. Don't get me wrong, I like whipped cream but not as a cone. The reason why it was like this is because the machine wasn't calibrated correctly in the beginning, or they ran out of mix, and when they added more mix. And then the machine when out of calibration. I know this because I worked in the food industry for 35 years.“

“It's two great places in one billding Baskin-Robbins and Dunkin Donuts are a great place to go and get ice-cream, coffee, donut and muffin's as I really do love the blue Barry muffin's as well the staff are really friendly and helpful yet it's not a 24 hour store and they will run out of Donut's and muffin's by the later part of the afternoon and evening most day's.“
