“I’m an over the road truck driver and I usually start my day by looking for a good coffee shop and this place has to be one of my favorites so far. The cafe mocha I ordered was excellent and my breakfast burrito was fresh with real ingredients and didn’t taste generic. I will definitely stop by again anytime I’m in the area“

Their goulash is also good.

“just found the place last week. The nicest dang people work there. young lady made me that pistachio and Chai latte to perfection. the slider and burrito were excellent. “I don’t drink coffee much so wasn’t really sure what to order. I seen on Facebook a Horchata Frappuccino so that’s what I ordered. It didn’t come out looking the way I expected. I thought there would be more coffee to it. Didn’t get the girls name that happily explained the drink and remade it for me. And I got to keep the Horchata obviously so I’ll give that to my daughter. “Grindhouse is my favorite place to go have a beef bomb sándwich and a decaf caramel latte. My husband always gets a black coffee and the house salad with goat cheese, chicken, and a honey-mustard, homemade dressing. They have bags of coffee, honey, hot sauces, and shorts for sale too. Also, this coffee house always mixes up the menu if you're one who likes variety. They have cool music playing in the background and the atmosphere is perfect for an enjoyable conversation. I will always go here because I love everything about this place.

Parking: Lots of spots to Park.

Kid-friendliness: I bring my grandsons ages 5 to 16 here all the time. It's right next to Griffith Park; so you can go play afterwards“

“Staff are very kind, and when they make mistakes(as everyone does) they are quick to correct and make it right.
I had a mix up with my order, and they gave me an extra donut and I barely noticed the extra time it took.

“My mom,me and my husband come here often. It's always fantastic. The waitresses r so sweet. We just love,Jamie,Lori,Michelle,kyston,Tina,Angela,. And the hostess r sweet too. We love Sam,but don't know the other ones names sorry. Food is usually on point. We love the soups too. We always get treated well. That's why we keep coming back. Wish they would be open for dinner. We would definitely come back for that being there is no sit down family restaurants in the hts that is open past 2:30 or 3. That's not a bar?“

“What a phenomenal addition to the Homewood/Flossmoor area!! Completely blew us away with the very best coffee (hot, flavorful, delicious) and killer scones! It is so nice to have a new, exceptional-quality spot for coffee and pastries. The atmosphere is so charming, you could be there all day. We sat at a high top but there are sofas, counter service , and standard tables. We were told a wine/beer selection is expected in October. Forgive my enthusiasm, but rarely does a new place meet and exceed expectations. Can't wait till my next visit!“

“Excited to try the empanadas at Empanadus in Homewood on Ridge Road. It is a nice cafe and eatery offering a variety of empanadas for all dietary needs. They are served very warm and the type of empanada is branded into the outside crust. They are a good sized portion and the filling can be tasted with each bite. I bought a variety and it was easy to identify which one was beef, sausage, spinach, vegan, etc. they also offer a variety of coffees too. Would definitely suggest you give it a visit.“

“We don’t often see managers going above and beyond for customers, that is why my experience here was so positive. I live in Cleveland and placed an order here to provide coffee and donuts for a local non profit. The order was picked up the next day, but the receipt was not. I needed the receipt to submit to my company for an expense report. Alicia reprinted it, took a picture and sent it to me. I was so grateful! I did stop in the next day on my way to visit the non profit. It was a wonderful atmosphere of hard working and busy employees. It was clean and there was nice music in the background. I spent about an hour working there using their internet. It felt like home and everybody made sure I had everything I needed. Of course the coffee was delicious! It’s Dunkin! And a lot less expensive than another coffee place! I love that they offer healthy options such as turkey bacon sandwiches. Great experience and a big thank you to Alicia for helping me out over the phone with her quick thinking and solutions to my problems!“
