“I recently visited this spot and tried the Nova Lox Bagel. While the bagel itself was fresh and well-toasted, the salmon was a letdown. Nova lox is typically known for being less salty than regular smoked salmon, but in this case, it was overly salty and overwhelmed the other flavors. The toppings, like cream cheese, capers, and onions, were well-balanced, but the saltiness of the salmon really detracted from the overall experience.

I also decided to try the apricot cookie, but that turned out to be a mistake. I was surprised to learn it cost nearly $5—far more than I expected for a single cookie. Unfortunately, the taste was disappointing; it was so unpalatable that I couldn’t even finish it. The texture was dense and off-putting, and the apricot flavor was barely there. It felt like a waste of money, and I left feeling dissatisfied.

The prices were reasonable for the bagel, but the quality didn’t fully match my expectations. As for the cookie, it was overpriced and not worth trying again. Overall, a mixed experience—there’s potential, but the execution fell short.“

“We drove from Genoa City Wisconsin because we heard how delicious everything was. We were NOT disappointed. The meat on our sandwiches, one corned beef and one pastrami, was piled high! Homemade brined pickles and bakery items exceeded our expectations. Worth the drive and we will be back.“

“I really like the bagels here and the sandwiches are great but they do this pet peeve of mine where they post their hours stating they’re open until 3:00 pm. I went there at 2:34 to get a toasted bagel with cream cheese to go and was informed their kitchen closes at 2:30. Just close the store. Lock the door. Turn off the lights at 2:30 then. You’re a bagel place. If you’re not serving food past 2:30 there is no reason to be open.“

“I’m so happy to have found an awesome bagel shop not far from home! We ordered The Obvious and Sweet & Tart and both were absolutely delicious. The sandwiches were packed with cream cheese and toppings. I also wasn’t expecting the coffee to be so amazing! I ordered a 16 oz. iced caramel latte and it was perfectly sweet and strong. We will be making Daly Bagel part of our weekend routine! Plan on getting your food to-go, though, because there is limited seating (especially on weekends) and it’s pretty toasty in there.“

My absolute FAVORITE from the meal was the Brighton Beach - the smoked salmon was perfect, the ratio of ingredients was incredible, and the flavor of the everything bagel tied everything together! “Great bagel shop to grab breakfast and a coffee to start your day. With the usual selection of bagels, you can't go wrong a simple one with cheese or one as a sandwich with beacon and eggs.

They had a good selection of coffee for those who need an extra wake-up jolt. The staff was help and great with kids. Great morning, stop to start your day.“

“This coffee shop has the best atmosphere - inside AND outside! The inside was very clean and modern. Baked goods (cinnamon) were fresh and delicious as was the hot chocolate! Friendly staff.
The outside was my favorite part: Great for people-watching (large corner lot). Heaters were installed ON the awnings, which covered the entire table, and not just on a tall pole on part of the table. The best part was the doggy Biscuit Bar - awesome, varied dog treats and water on an outdoor cart. See photos

“I have been a patient at a re hab center nearby for 3 weeks.Tempting me with different foods so I would eat better, she brought me a half of a turkey sandwich and supposedly a cup of vegetable soup.

I think the soup was a pint, it was fabulous, all veggies were cooked perfectly. When she pulled out the turkey sandwich without unwrapping it I thought by the Wieght I thought she got me a full one. I don't know how they make money. She was bringing them almost every day. I'm leaving here tomorrow and am really going to miss their food. I wish they really had one by where I live.“

“I first learned about R&A at the Lakeview Farmers Market and they quickly became a Saturday morning tradition. Now I order from them weekly! The chocolate chip bagel is my favorite, but I also haven’t met one of their bagels I haven’t enjoyed. The Hipster sandwich is delicious!! Love this place.“

“Without a doubt, the best bagel I’ve had in Chicago.
Authentic NY style bagel spot with tons of baked goods.
Bagel is amazingly crispy and the everything had so much flavor without just being overly salty like some places do.
Also got a bialy and the cream cheese was fantastic! Brings me right back to visiting my uncle in New York as a kid.
