“My wife and I started eating at Original Pancake House in Honolulu in 1979 or 1980. The first thing I ordered was the 49er Ooey Gooey Thin and Chewy Pancakes with the Homemade Tropical sauce. (I lost my Beautiful Wife the early morning hours after Christmas 2025, so my son and I are visiting my sister and my brother-in-law in Chicago.)
Today, my taste buds thought they were getting that first ever plate of those Wonderful Pancakes! Three plate sized thin, Ooey and Gooey pancakes to make your mouth desire them every morning!
We also shared the Apple Jack (another OPH specialty).
We have enjoyed the Walker Brothers Original Pancake House when we come back to Chicago and I think this was my best experience yet!

While on the website, I registered for the Cafe Zupas loyalty program and got a Free beverage! And, even though I have a discount on GH from my Amazon Prime account, my bill was nearly $8 cheaper! Overall, my experience today with Cafe Zupas Schaumburg has been stellar and I'll be ordering from them (directly, no more GrubHub) frequently and encouraging my coworkers and clients to do the same. Now where is that chocolate covered strawberry for my dessert. Yummy!“

Was delicious. I took two pounds of burnt tips to go for a Super Bowl party I was attending that night and they were a huge hit! Everyone loved them. I will totally be back to this place to try so many more things on the menu. Love it.“

“Wow, this place is so delicious, the focaccia bread and oil is incredible.. I seriously could just fill up on that alone but luckily I didn’t! The calamari was crispy and fresh, the build your own pasta (fettuccine Alfredo) was a steaming hot huge portion with a delicious fresh cream and cheese sauce. The Caesar salad that came with the pasta was cold and crisp and fresh with a delicious creamy dressing. For dessert we had the spumoni gelato, which genuinely brought tears to my eyes as I hadn’t had it in maybe 28 years since I was a young child.. it was so good. All of it was just delicious, and the service was really great as well.. we had full drinks and bread on the table the whole time, the food came out quickly and was always hot/fresh.. great prices for such high quality food… yum!“

I have tried a few different dishes from here and am obsessed with their caprese salad, chopped salad, buffalo chicken wrap, and their cauliflower crust pizza. They have delivery and also pickup. Their fruit when in season is super fresh and I honestly cant even find that fresh at a grocery store. Sometimes I drive 20 minutes to pick up their super fresh caprese salad and fruit side. Definitely recommend giving this place a shot if you haven't already!!! By far one of my favorite go to in Cary!“
