The food was good, and the restaurant’s eating area was clean. The boys did say the men’s restroom could use some freshening up. I do recommend this Denny’s and we hope to visit again.“

“I scheduled an event here sight not seen on August 31st for a 65th Birthday Celebration. This place is a hidden gem. Absolutely gorgeous. The room is spacious yet can be very intimate. Thank you so much to Ms. Evelyn Randle and Ms. Arika for taking care of me. The CVS Class of 1977 raved about this place all while we were there. We are scheduling our next event. They have a full bar, full dining area, a nice big deck, and they have slot machines. There is also daily events posted, if that your thing.
There is a wall to pay tribute to veterans and I love that being my day was a veteran. May he RIP.

Where you ask your significant other… “ what do you want to eat?” And they respond with “I don’t care just pick something.” Well that was the case with hotspot on Halsted. When I pulled up, I knew that it was a typical traditional food spot so I came in with the mindset of let me try something super traditional, so I looked at the menu and something peaked my interest, and it was the Mexican style hotdog, I wish I had a picture to show, but I devoured it so fast that I don’t think I had enough time to take it. It was so delicious My Wife ordered the burger and she enjoyed it thoroughly as for service. I do have to say it was better than I expected, and by My Wife being bilingual it made it super easy to order to get the service proper service. I definitely will stop by and grab the same thing I had before and maybe try something else but in my book“

I wish they had better plant based options. A quinoa, kale bowl? How about at least adding mushrooms to it? With huge variety of plant based proteins available, I am surprised to not see them on the menus of most restaurants.“

“I went here because a coworker of mine told me about their mushroom swiss burger. The staff were friendly and my order came quickly. Granted, it was the slower part of the day but still great service. I can appreciate that.

After trying the burger, I noticed that I didn't get that bloated or weighed-down feeling. The burger was good, the fries were good and I liked the shake. It took a spoon to really get into it, but that's to be expected when having a thick shake. All around great experience in my book.“

“We typically love it here. However, we had an easily avoidable issue yesterday. The app only allows the "call ahead" for up to 6. We had a party of 12. So, we called the location to ask if they could accommodate a party of 12. We kept getting placed on hold by 3 different employees only to be told they can't give a time estimate until we are physically there (15+minutes btw of employee after employee). Okay, we pack up and head there. After arriving we are told they can't even sit the 12 of us together and it's a 1.5 hour wait. What a WASTE of OUR time. I understand the wait is based on the customer traffic. But if you guys know you can't sit 12 together, TELL US OVER THE DAM PHONE!!!!!!“

“I went there for the first time. The vibe, service and food was great. my only issue was the automatic 18 percent gratuity. it was only two people who had one drink each, burgers and appetizer. Our bull was 89.00. Also we were not given an actual bill we were just told our bill was 89.00. I didn't appreciate that and have never experienced that before.“
