“The cakes are INCREDIBLE! We ordered a chocolate pistachio cake in June, and it was the best chocolate cake of any kind I've ever had. I had family in town for a special occasion, so I got a red velvet cake this time. My family is not easily impressed, and none of us are vegan. But I KNEW if the red velvet was half as good as that chocolate pistachio cake, it would be a hit. Everyone loved it! I had to pack folks extra pieces to take with them.

The cakes are so flavorful, moist, and dense in an excellent way without losing out on a good texture and crumb. There is no flavor I wouldn't trust this bakery with. Pie, Pie My Darling is amazing. It's been a godsend this year, as I've had to avoid dairy. I plan to continue ordering from them after I can have dairy again.

“Food was amazing. An incredible selection of savory and sweet. I had trouble picking which one of the four very different things I ate was my favorite. The only real downsides are twofold: there isn’t a great coffee selection (since that isn’t their primary function) and there is very limited seating. Don’t let that discourage you because everything is easy to eat on the go or in your car and they will package it for you by default. Adding this place to rotation!“

“So, Babe had a taste for a blueberry muffin. We decided to stop in here. They did not have any muffins available at the moment BUT they had a blueberry donut. Needless to say, we walked out with a dozen assorted donuts. I've already eaten 3 and my taste buds are EXTREMELY satisfied 😍 The staff was super friendly and the establishment was very clean. Everything looked so delicious. I know we'll definitely go back again to try other pastries 😀 $21 for a dozen donuts. Definitely worth supporting a small business as opposed to Dunkin Donuts. . “Be quick at ordering because there’s going to be a line! Good news is that I have the sense nothing is bad here. I got a ham and cheese and mustard croissant which was perfect, and the banana coffee cake which was DIVINE. Just wish they could do a toasted and creamed bagel, so 4 stars for customer service.“

“OMG WOW! Amazing bakery! I go to tons of bakeries & I think this is the best one in Oak Park & one of the best in Chicagoland! I LOVED everything I tried from the cookies, to muffins to scones. Super high quality & extremely fresh products. Some of the pastries were still warm from the oven as I got there right at 8 am when they open. Even then, there was a little line out the door. Many people got coffee drinks but I didn’t this time. They also have $2 wonky cookies (just weirdly shaped cookies) that are a great deal. I tried: chocolate chip cookie, banana bread, vegan chocolate muffin (extra delish), goat cheese chili scone (excellent) & the wonky birthday cookie (amazing & buttery - melts in your mouth). Can’t wait to go back & try other things! Please note the place is tiny with only a few tables & chairs & there’s metered street parking so I took my order to go.

10.25.24 update: the kale salad done is truly amazing! The toasted coconut cake was sooo good and the chiffon cake was delightful. The savory corn biscuit was good but I preferred the scone, which is totally worth traveling for.“

When my package arrived it was not in perfect condition....having traveled through a snow storm and a holiday weekend...it was disappointing..(FedEx, not them) I called them to say hello and alert them to my sadness....They not only replaced the promo box, but added extra goodies and shipped it overnight with a sweet message from the owner. 👍😍 First Class all the way...And, AMAZING sweets! The flavors are always incredible, and the cakes add an extra layer of deliciousness to their already amazing selection. Every time I visit, the service is quick and efficient, making the experience even more enjoyable. The only downside is the parking, which can be a bit of a challenge since the location is on a main road. But despite that, I always find a way to stop by because the cookies and cakes are worth it!"“

“Today, 20 Sep my daughter brought home a dozen chocolate donuts. I was shocked when I opened the box. Apparently your bakery is downsizing the donuts. Much smaller and worse of all , what happened to the chocolate coating on the donuts. Did you run out? They use to be smothered with chocolate. Very disappointed.“

When I went for the first time I needed a seller because this work like self service, they help me and were so kind. Cookies are expensive but so delicious. The store is too small and it’s confuse because there are two lines, one for order and one for pickup, because of the size of the store it’s kind a mess“

“They have great pies but I noticed they charge you fee for using Tock. This is a very bad trend by business, they force the operating fees on their customers!!!! Your products ( while very delicious) are already expensive so to add service fees on top is just not a customer friendly policy. This is why I only get their pies 2 times a year. Stop being lazy and take orders over the phone, instead of putting more of your burdens on your customers backs“
