“After hearing about Omarcito’s from Triple D, we had to try it. The owner, Omar, is hilarious and has a great personality. He greeted everyone as they walked up and held genuine conversations. My husband and I ordered a few different items, and we were not disappointed. The ingredients are fresh and you could tell the meat is marinated because it was super tender. This place is a must!!“

“The concept for the menu is a unique trip along the Pan-American highway with stops at various Latin countries. Each dish and drink is thoughtful in its ingredients and presentation. The jicama salad was refreshing, but not at all plain. The pastel de choclo was a wonderful surprise of a warm dish. The frozen el arenal was seriously dangerous in how delicious it was, I can’t recommend it enough. The atmosphere was beautiful and the music was perfect. We are so thrilled to have this gem in the neighborhood and can’t wait to see what they do in the future!“

“Casa Yari is the best for vegan food in Chicago...hands down. The menu is creative, delicious and made with love. Yari is an amazing chef and human all around. Her staff, which includes her daughters, is very knowledgeable about the menu and can guide you on what to get if you're a first timer. Every dish is made to order so a little bit of a wait time is to be expected and well worth it. Be sure to check their website for updated rotating menus as well as some restaurant FAQs (i.e. they stop taking orders about 30 min before close) Heads up, brunch is busy so you most likely won't be able to grab your order to go but you are more than welcome to dine in at the bar if you're solo. They also have an amazing N/A cocktail list for those of you that don't drink. This is not a place to miss if you're a true Chicago foodie!“

“The food at Fuego is absolutely amazing. I love their Tortilla soup. The homemade guacamole is good enough to be its own food group! Their staff are some of the friendliest I've ever encountered.
We were fortunate enough to go in on one of their Thursday night karaoke nights with All Mixed Up Entertainment. The sound was incredible and the singers were very talented. Even our waitresses, L and Pricila, got up to sing their hearts out. Lots of fun. We will definitely be back!“

“Its a nice place, has good ambiance and had a nice window seat. The tomato soup was excellent, had a sweet kick, wished there was maybe a spot of bread with it. Service was very active and server answered questions kindly. Food wasn’t really my type, a bit “fancy”, with lots of garnish, but obviously doesn’t deserve to lose an actual star because of that. Appreciate the effort clearly put in.“

“DO NOT MISS THE HAPPY HOUR! We were absolutely thrilled to find FULL SIZE PORTIONS on the Happy Hour menu! $7 food selections, $7 cocktails, $4 draft beer! We ordered the Nachos, the Carne Asada Tacos, and the Ceviche. The tacos were STUFFED with meat! Our server Victor, just absolutely wonderful. Very friendly and knowledgeable! “First of all let me thank the chef. You have made my life— encebollado is my favorite dish and one of my fondest memories from Ecuador and my summers there with my family. This is the best encebollado I have had not only in the United States but a long time in Ecuador as well (Guayaquil). I ordered via Ubereats and due to traffic it took a bit longer to get to me but WOW worth the wait and I don’t even live in Chicago!!! I would gladly love one of these restaurants in GA! “The food was OK. I don’t think that the chicken nuggets that I ordered were made fresh. From the time I ordered to the time I sat down and got my food was less than five minutes. The taste was decent. It’s definitely packed with flavor. The coleslaw was pretty good. I may give another location a try and ask for the food to be made fresh.“
