“We dined at Hillgrove Tap for a Moms day out event today. They were fantastic handling our group. Service was excellent. Food was fantastic. And they were so organized. “Although I hear they have good smashburgers had a taste for wings. It's rare to find places that will give you the whole wing. Only downside, I wish they were a little bigger and on the online menu it pictured it came with coleslaw. It did come with fries that were nice and crispy. Overall, the meal was good and hot by the time I made it back home.“

“The waiters here are always nice and helpful. The cooks dont get enough credit for the consistency of the food they produce. My friend recommended this place and I now go once a week. Make sure to sign up to their email listing for FREE goodies.“

“First time trying this place as is just few minutes away from my company new location. I didn’t order anything from their set menu, as I only wanted to get serving of chicken, gyro meat and Italian beef with side of tzatziki sauce- and the staff accustomed my needs perfectly! Must say I’m very pleasantly surprised! Most of places are fussing about preparing something out of their standard menu - this guys are more than happy to creat a meal to satisfy their guest!
Will most certainly be a returning customer and will spread the good word about this place to all my colleagues at work (and not only)“

“I would like to say this place is 💯 approved and approved by HAFSA
But unfortunately with the food itself it was very mid. (See reviews on bottom)
We got 2 sliders each (1 beef and 1 chicken) and the portions were very small compared to what was expected.

“stopped in from the rain and grabbed a mini beef and fries...7.95...great price. beef sandwich is exactly what you want from a local beef joint. great casual service. “1st time trying this place in Des Plaines and I must say that the bumper fries, bumper chicago style hotdog, chicken tenders with the honey mustard sauce which was great paired together and the bumper burger was all amazing 😋 👌 Definitely a must try🙌 I also like that it's all Halal meat so it's never frozen always fresh ❤️“

“When I entered, I was warmly greeted by a nice young man named Evan. He took my order and was very polite about all the extra changes I requested for my burger. The burger came out fresh and hot. I ordered the combo meal with a drink and received an a lot of extra fries, which were crispy and delicious. I also appreciate the option to choose milk instead of soda or lemonade. This place is a 10/10, and I will definitely come back.“

“Went there in the afternoon for late breakfast. Food was excellent ...service was crap..Waittress brought out my friend's food and didn't bring out all of my food till I was halfway through my meal. When I told a waitress she said that the kitchen was behind on putting orders out but I was there a 1/2 hour before they close? Food was excellent and a large amount and plan on taking leftovers home.
Parking: Probably at least 80 to 100 parking spots.

“Astonishing that it's still around. I was 10 when it opened in 1948 and to get a double decker at HH was close to heaven. Across the street was Prince Castle, long gone, where you could get a slider for much less money. HH was a splurge and it's wonderful to see it live today.“

“No doubt the pizza’s are amazing but once we bring them home they do not taste good as we dine in at eat. Also, not only me but alot of people have noticed how rude the guy is who picks up the call. I am giving my order over the phone and he rushes me because he has someone coming in his restaurant. Next , I ask him couple of questions which he shows so much attitude. Third , I hate dining in this place . The guy keeps checking to see if we didn’t make the tables or floor messy. No kind of professionalism. We do not eat free . We pay for the pizza’s he should not show this type of etiquette“
