“Listen this food is just too good. I hate meal prep (and cooking tbh) but wanted to eat better. I felt so lucky to find Bri and her team-- the food they make is magic and I swear to gods they trick me into eating more veggies all the time. And then the comfort food? The fried rice and the Mac n cheese and the jerk wings (even the vegan Mac n cheese, btw)? You don't even know. Last but not least- let me say that these folks are also so kind and thoughtful. Whether it's a heads up about something being out, bringing food to door when you aren't home, a cute note on the takeout bag, or offering a random extra juice one time when I picked up - they care about the food they are making and the community they are creating. Cannot say enough good things about this business 🙌💜“

“Kat was a huge help in making our wedding reception happen. She knows what she is doing, and despite the fact that we had a lot to get setup that we designed ourselves (so we didn't have a vendor dedicated to getting our centerpieces and such setup), they did it perfectly and we were blown away when we walked in.
The staff was so friendly, every one of them had a huge smile on their face and made it a point to congratulate us as they passed by our table. And the food - absolutely fantastic (and we're picky!).“

“We just hosted our 50th high school reunion the other evening John and his staff could not have been more accommodating to us. They cheerfully answered every question, made certain everything was perfect and served us delicious food. I honestly think this place is an absolute gem. “We had our daughter’s quinceañera at the Mayfield yesterday and it was amazing! We had so many compliments from our guests about the great venue and food!! Their staff is very respectful and friendly! We’ve had many parties at the Mayfield in the past and I’m sure we’ll be back again!!“

“From the moment we stepped into this incredible Arab restaurant, we were welcomed with the kind of warmth and hospitality that made us feel like family. The atmosphere was inviting and beautifully decorated, but it was the service—and especially the owner—that truly made this experience unforgettable. The food was absolutely phenomenal. What truly set this restaurant apart, though, was the hospitality. The owner personally came over to greet us and made sure my entire family was comfortable and well taken care of. It’s rare to find someone who treats guests with such heartfelt attention. This was a memorable experience. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for not just incredible food, but also to be treated with the kind of warmth and generosity that leaves a lasting impression. We will absolutely be returning“

“Shaymaa is amazing! Her food is delicious, portions are generous, and her customer service is great! She makes an effort to work with your requests and make any adjustments to suit our family’s needs whenever we order. We especially love the chicken kabseh and the chicken shawarma sandwiches - but there isn’t an item we’ve ordered that we haven’t loved!!“

“My husband and I can't say enough good things about Marie's Catering. From the very beginning, Amanda was very helpful in answering our questions, being responsive, and working with us to create a menu that we wanted. We were astonished by how much food was provided at our tasting, all super yummy, and so we eagerly booked them for our reception. We opted for family style so each guest could enjoy all the dishes, and boy are we glad we did! We had DOZENS of guests come up to us that night, and since, RAVING about every dish. Everything being so delicious and cooked perfectly was even more impressive when you consider they served over 100 people. The servers were great and very attentive and even boxed up my husband and my leftovers, which was such a treat we were not expecting. I honestly don't think you could find better quality food, bar package, and service for the price. Highly recommend!“

“Ali Tucker is absolutely phenomenal. I’ve known her for years and seen her work from high school graduation, to showers and events within my family parties. The last month I have had the privilege and pleasure of working with her to cater and plan my wedding day! There are no words. She is truly the best in the business. I am in awe with her and her team. From the delicious Hors d'oeuvre, to the dinner and dessert, to the great serving and bar tenting and the most beautiful atmosphere she created it was incredible. She turned our last minute backyard wedding into a fairy tale. On top of it all she poured her heart and dedication into my event and made it what it was. All my guests were raving about her excellent service. My big day was perfect and it wouldn’t of happened without her! I can’t wait to use her amazing service and enjoy her delicious foods again very soon!“
“Update for 2021 This food is so good the prices are a bit High but the food is really delicious and I'm a little disappointed that you have to download an app to use your points because I have over $30 in points on my account and now I have to download an app. I tried an ice cream from the Darien location it was super good and also The Banana Splits are excellent. “We have been lucky to attend this hall on multiple occasions from a production company standpoint. The hall is not the best for sound reinforcement as you will need a separate rig pointed to where the main entrance is to ensure you will have even coverage for all patrons. However, it is a minor detail that with the right professional shouldn't be a problem. The catering was very good and the space looked very nice. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a nice event space.“

“It's a shame that there are so few of these delis left in the area; there used to be three or four along a couple of miles of Archer down here (including Bobak's), but I guess the demographics no longer supports them. It was a joy to find this place by accident.We go to this tiny place mainly for the beet borscht, bigos (to DIE for!), and pierogis. I smiled when I noticed they actually have wooden barrels of kapusta and pickled cukes wedged into a rear corner.They have all different kinds of fresh pierogi and, for such a small space, a pretty good sausage/meat selection. I know very little about East European sausage names, but it would probably be wise to call ahead if you are looking for a certain kind.“

“We had our son's first birthday here and cannot say enough good things about Gilhooleys. The manager Jim was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. The staff the day of was amazing and friendly. The food (we did the brunch option) was so delicious. We got so many compliments about the food and the space from our guests. It was our first time hosting a party so we were nervous, but Gilhooleys made everything easy for us. We are so grateful for such a wonderful time!“

“Just tried the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and corn. Haven't had it in a long time and boy was I pleasantly surprised. Very very yummy. And thank God the mashed potatoes were made from real potatoes. Definitely tasted home made. Prices are very good as well. I'll try few more dished in the coming weeks but right now 5 stars.“

The Pizza is great and flavorful, the chicken is amazing,tasty & moist by far some of the best chicken I've ever had here in the Cicero, Berwyn area.The owner is super humble easy to talk too extremely pleasant, and he is all about the neighborhood he is taking care of us based in his prices !! compared to other locations where it's all about making money and not the customer. “We attended a wedding the other day and I must say the place was nice and the staff was very much on point once you were done with your food they were there to pick up the plates the bartenders were friendly and knew how to make drinks. I would recommend Candlelight Banquets to other people“

“I ordered for pickup. The place inside was clean. I had the chile relleno taco, it was good just thought it would be a whole chile like “el milagro”. Guacamole was delish and my husband said his asada tacos were great too! Told him it has a drive thru and he said “found our new spot!”“
