It’s as if he knows how intimidating making all the decisions to get a sub made. “Great lunch spot in downtown Wheaton for a quick bite. The sandwiches are a very good and generous sized. I really like the grinders and panini when I want a hot sandwich. Great service & staff! There is outdoor seating so we can bring our dog when the weather is nice. It can get crowded on weekends around lunchtime, especially in the warmer months.

Parking: Plenty of street parking is available if you can find a spot. During busy times in Wheaton, I recommend the free parking garage, it is centrally located and only minutes walk to any of the attractions. It is maybe a 2 minute walk to the deli.

Kid-friendliness: Kids love eating here! Lots of families visit Shane's because of the very kid friendly menu.“

“I really like toasted subs, so the food is really good in my opinion. The speed is variable, even when there are not too many people in the store. I recommend ordering ahead on the app and picking up your food to make it faster. The staff are really nice though.“

I have tried the ham, egg, and cheese on an onion bagel along with the sausage egg on an everything bagel. Both sandwiches were great. Yes, I needed to six hotdogs!!!! I told this guy to put the hot peppers on the side, but he told me that he already have them on the hog dogs by the time I ask him so he couldn’t remove the damn hot peppers which is a shame because I don’t want the peppers on the hotdogs I want him on the side very very fast no doubt about that, but if you tell them how you decide to have your hotdogs don’t count on that“

Every time I visit, the location is clean, the bread and cookies are fresh and not stale, and the portions are correct. I don’t understand some of the negative reviews, I’ve never had a single problem here. The other locations always fall short in one of these aspects or more.“
