“Let's face it it's a Mr Sub or a Midway Sub all in all it's all the same old sub or pork sandwiches or pork submarine sandwich places where the meat is what it is not so real but just passes for being some sort of meat.. let's be honest here it's not what you call the quality meat that you would get at a deli. It's a great sandwich when you really want to eat something with a lot of calories and sloppy oil and vinegar and mayonnaise especially when you're looking to cheat on your diet or if you're drunk at 3:00 in the morning.. the only thing that's great about it is the real Italian bread is really and for some reason the oil and vinegar really complements the bread and then it complements the subpar atrocious meat or tuna or whatever your sandwiches is. The prices are very fair not like it is today at Subway where Subway's prices are out of the realm of costly, so you save money here and let's face it you get your basic flaky lettuce and your subpart tomatoes and onions and then you get your subpar meets basically that's what you're getting but again it's still a good bread, I can't understand how the bread is so good at these sub or Mr sub or Midway Sub or Port submarine places, and this one used to be a mistress sub but they changed the name years ago but it's all the same. The fountain drinks are really good just enough syrup in drinks, you won't get that at 7-11 LOL.“

“I drive all the way from Darien to get there sandwich. Started going there 45 years ago and then I moved and came back and the original location was closed and I thought that was it. “Had a taste for a mall cheesesteak and decided to give this location a try. I ordered online and was advised 15 minites, I showed up within 20 minutes, and my food was hot and ready. The cheese steak was very good, thin meat, fresh condiments, and soft bread, and I really enjoyed the thinly sliced pickles. I also ordered wings that were well sauced and a very nice size for chicken wings. The service was nice as well. I will definitely be back. “Really liked this cute sandwich shop... freshly made sandwiches served nicely on a wooden board. I was here for a quick business lunch but will be backs soon. Had a scoop of the pecan ice cream which was delicious and made in-house. Good quality and quick service with plenty of parking. I will certainly be back!“

“I didn’t think I’d like my order, but I took a leap of faith anyway. The Phillywich Super 14” was my order and it was absolutely delicious. The garlic sauce truly topped it off for me! The steak and mushrooms were grilled to perfection! The bread was excellent. I ordered the sandwich with caramelized onions,green peppers and pepper jack cheese to boot. I will surely order from them again. If you like Philly cheese steak sandwiches, you won’t be disappointed. The sandwich was good and hot upon delivery. I’m going to treat myself to another lunch from them real soon.“
“Ordered catering from Darla’s this weekend for my college graduation party. Went in a few weeks prior to try the sandwiches since I had never had them before and the staff was super nice, even gave me free samples of their salads to try along with my sandwich orders. Since the sandwiches were so good, we decided to go with them for our party. Our order was on time and exactly as we’d asked. They also provided us with mustard and mayo packets and “The Goods” on the side in convenient serving packages. The pricing is also extremely competitive. They are much cheaper than popular chain sandwich places’ catering options which shocked me since it is a small local business. I don't know what it is, because at face value the ingredients are just OK. But when you get that shredded lettuce soaked with vinegar and oregano, and the not quite sure what kind of cheese it is, mixed with a true sub roll and solid deli meat. It's a beautiful thing. “While not my usual selection, I ordered the Italian beef dry with juice on the side. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sandwich and the generous amount of beef packed into it. The side of juice was fine for someone like me who doesn't was a soaked beef. With the side of fries and drink it is a sandwich meal that satisfies. The employees are courteous and efficient.“
