“First time here. I ordered 2 corn tamales and one green chicken and received 2 chicken instead. Pretty upset about that. Specially since the chicken had no sauce and the flavor just wasn’t there. But the corn was amazing, they don’t prepare tamales here with toppings but I went home and added sour cream and cheese on top, it was great! Overall I would only come back for the corn tamales.“

It was so good and came with a delicious rice as well. I also had the house tortilla chips and salsa which were so good as well. The salsa was like canned tomatos with some fresh spices. “Food very good, service a bit slow, but it was busy. From what we had, I would say Los Rancheros is more authentic than the typical "Mexican" fare I've had so far in the Indianapolis area. My wife had the Mojarra Frita (fried whole Talapia), her go-to at Mexican places, and enjoyed it. I can't recall the name of the steak platter I had, and it's not listed on their on-line menu. It was a skirt steak covered in spicy beans. It was very good as well, and very spicy indeed. Both dishes came with Mexican rice, the fish had Avocado slices, and the steak had very small servings of Pico de Gallo and Guacamole which were more of a garnish than anything. Will definitely be returning.“

“I've been here many times. The food is always fresh and yummy. Service is always a little slow, and you have to wait a long time for someone to actually come seat you. The one terrible thing is the amount of Fabuloso they use. You can smell it when you open the door. It's almost enough to make me leave each time. I’m very picky when it comes to my food so I was very shocked and surprised that I even took the courage to come and try them out. My family and I love Mexican food, due to our Spanish background as Puerto Ricans. Man,when I tell you I love this place so much I probably come here for lunch two times a week if I get the chance.
