Probably my favorite in town -- check my other reviews to see I've eaten a LOT of asada tacos around town. $6 for one taco, so more than other places around town, buuuut it was tasty as was the sauce/salsa that came with it. Plenty of meat filling that wasn't overly fatty or gristly.
Pork tamale was okay. Could've used some more flavor IMO. Plenty of meat in the tamale, too.“

“This was my first visit and definitely will be returning. We had the most marvelous waiter (London). He made us feel right at home and there for anything we needed or wanted. “I visited FR In early July. Just finding out my child was on the spectrum, he had an epic meltdown. I’ve never had to work through an episode like that, so I was frustrated and upset. The owner came over, handed two dumdum suckers to my child and a stuffed dinosaur. He offered to hold my son, who just screamed louder at the idea. I kept apologizing, and eventually took my kid to the entryway to give the other patrons a break from his meltdown. After a few mins, the owner came out to the entryway to check on us. I explained my son’s diagnosis, and he offered to turn the music off. He also unscrewed the lightbulb over our table and it calmed my child down. Eventually, we were able to order and eat in relative peace. I just find it super amazing that someone would go to those lengths to make sure my kid was okay. 10/10 excellent food too!“

“My main meal, the fajita coral, was so delicious. I never had anything like that before it had crab, shrimp, and tilapia. I’m a vegetarian so there’s usually limited options at restaurants. I appreciated the unique menu options of this Mexican restaurant. Service was amazing. My server was nice and patient while I took time to look at the menu. He also refilled my water as soon as he noticed it was low, which I really appreciated. The only negative feedback I have is refried beans and salsa are kind of bland. Which I didn’t really care because the meal that I got was so flavorful and yummy. I went during lunchtime, but got a dinner item however they do offer for lunch specials!“

“I go to this taco truck in the furniture parking lot on west Washington just east of lynhurst with my family anybtime I can afford it. The lady that owns the truck is so sweet and fixes all the food with fresh everyday ingredients. I can proudly say that I can trust her cooking and prepping process of her foods, all of them. Even down to the sauces and the horchata. I personally am addicted to the chicken tacos and green sauce and lime!! Oh and horchata!!! I can guarantee you it's one of the top 5 best horchatas in the entire state, not just the city!!! Also has personally the top 5 best ever chicken taco in the United states!! Yes I said it. I have traveled all the way to the west Coast and the east coast and never have had anything like this ladies tacos from home!! I can say that my family loves this lady and her food authenticity from the heart!! If this lady was to ever not be around for any reason I would find her to buy her chicken by the pound!!! I would also be the only white family that would attend her funeral!!! God bless this lady and her family and her food!! She also uses her family to help with her business and I think that it's wonderful!! She's an amazing person and the community loves your food lady!! I would definitely come back again and to sing the inside was very big the outside was humongous it looked very clean they had a lot of people but they still respect their customers it is very friendly and very chill 😎 the workers were very sweet 😋 I would take my big back over there again.!
