“We stopped here today after visiting the Shrine in St. John, we are from out of town and tried to find something to eat quick because our kids were hungry. OMG! IT WAS SO GOOD. They were SO fast with getting our food out, and it was so tasty! The burgers were big, juicy, delicious. Fries were hot and crispy. I'm so glad we stopped here!!! Highly recommend.“

“We have been to Bugaboo’s three times now! Love the food, the staff, the atmosphere and will be making this our go to place! The only bad thing I would say is don’t choose the blue cheese dressing (bottled) just ask for more crumbles!“

“I have seen this place there since I was young. we were out with some friends and decided to swing in. It is a quaint, little old homey bar. we loved it!!! The building looks like it is original to the town. (I love old vintage buildings, etc). We bought a round of drinks, hung out for a while, shot a game of pool. The customers and the bartender were very friendly!! Be aware they are a cash only bar (they do have an ATM inside) and it is a smoking bar so if you are sensitive to smoke. We will be back!! The one thing I noticed they changed the sign in the parking lot they had for years. I loved how it had a picture of the parking lot and had some cars, but also had a snowmobile and motorcycle parked together. Odd combination....but humorous!! 🤣 We will be back to support this local business!!“

“Celebrated a friends birthday there last night and had an amazing dinner! The entrée of braised short ribs melted in my mouth and banoffee pie could not be beat for dessert!“

“I freaking love diners and Dawn is the best server in the business. My wife and I go here religiously. When friends come to town we take them to the islands where you get great breakfast for a great price. Toss your worries out the window while you stare at the heart of Crown Point. There's plenty of room for everyone so bring your grandma and party.“

Stumbled on this eatery a few years ago while traveling from Kentucky to IL and it has become a staple and traditional visit. As every other one, our most recent experience was once again, phenomenal, with some added extra attention from the staff and owner. “well I'm really torn on if I should recommend or not... most of the time the food is fine but when it comes to fundraisers they are really really horrid. let's put a box out and not put anything on the box so the majority of the people have no idea about tossing their receipts in there for a cause... im pretty sure they make enough money where they can put something on the boxes for the customers... if they are so scared about losing money don't even bother... yesterday I was there around 4 and not one person threw a receipt in the box.. I was the first.... second fundraiser and second time unless you already knew, had no idea about it.. .“

“Talk about a restaurant that gives you that feeds you warm and cozy food but make you feel so warm and cozy from the service as well...ANGIES IS IT!!! This is a MUST GO TO PLACE!!! “My friends and I ate breakfast there the other day. They had remodeled the place. It was brighter& cheery. The only thing I would recommend is bring in some round tables for groups of 6. That makes it Easier for talking & socializing while you eat. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. Our meals came quick & hot. The store area has many nice things but set up too crowded to actually look well to the point you might miss something you would actually buy. I would actually redo the set up of - how you display the products in the store area to be less congested. It’s just too overwhelming to see it all well in its current set up.“

“We ordered the cod dinner on 1/29 and it was delicious. However, when we sat down in a booth we noticed an elderly lady struggling to walk up the icy sidewalk from the parking lot. When the young man brought our food we told him about it and suggested someone spread salt on the area. He was nice and thanked us for mentioning it. However, in the 45 minutes we sat there no one followed through and actually salted the sidewalk. Not good, Culvers.“

“This is a fantastic steakhouse. We had a great time dining here last Saturday night. Our rib-eye steaks were juicy and tender, the mashed potatoes were delicious, and the drinks were perfectly made. The decor and atmosphere are a bit simple, but the food was excellent, and it's only 10 minutes from home. We've heard the new owners are renovating, and we hope it will give the restaurant a more luxurious feel to match the quality of the food. All in all, we'll definitely be back“

The Pineapple Habanero Wings were a solid 10/10. They also have the coldest Draft Beers I've ever had so that's definitely a plus. The atmosphere was comfortable. I genuinely recommend you give them a try.“

The upstairs was loaded with like 50 guests from a baseball team? So he was VERY busy. But that didn't stop him from speed, accuracy and friendliness! Best bartender ! He deserves a raise!“

“We were looking for a place to take the grandkids. My Wife is gluten free so that was also a consideration. We arrived mid/late afternoon. We were greeted by a nice dining room and quickly seated. Our server was quick to see if we wanted beverages and provided us menus. Everyone in our group ordered a different menu item for dinner. Our food arrived quickly, presentation was great, food was piping hot and well seasoned. Desserts were delicious in taste and a treat to the eyes. Prices were very reasonable. Last but not least, our server was very attentive and friendly. I give this restaurant 5 stars.“

She brought us extra dipping sauces, was very timely, remembered us, was extremely kind, checked on us several times, brought us free samples of her beer recommendations (based off of our personal taste!); I can’t say enough about her! The curds are amazing, the beer is great, and we love everything we’ve tried so far. Get the pizza extra crispy when you go!“
