“Great service, good food and atmosphere. However, the grill closes at 7:30! Tried to put on online order in at 7:30 and it wouldn't go thru, so I drove to the place at 7:45 and they said they were closed. I told them it says they are open until 8pm online, and they said yes that's true. Sooooo, how can you be open, but your grill is closed. Doesnt make sense, just adjust the hours to 7:30 so you don't waste people's time.“

“I just want to say I frequently visit Culvers in Cedar Lake and am very impressed. My food is always made fresh and hot as well as very tasty. Also, props to the whole staff who are among the best and most COURTEOUS I have ever encountered Keep up the good work CULVERS OF CEDAR LAKE“

“I have seen this place there since I was young. we were out with some friends and decided to swing in. It is a quaint, little old homey bar. we loved it!!! The building looks like it is original to the town. (I love old vintage buildings, etc). We bought a round of drinks, hung out for a while, shot a game of pool. The customers and the bartender were very friendly!! Be aware they are a cash only bar (they do have an ATM inside) and it is a smoking bar so if you are sensitive to smoke. We will be back!! The one thing I noticed they changed the sign in the parking lot they had for years. I loved how it had a picture of the parking lot and had some cars, but also had a snowmobile and motorcycle parked together. Odd combination....but humorous!! 🤣 We will be back to support this local business!!“

“We have been to Bugaboo’s three times now! Love the food, the staff, the atmosphere and will be making this our go to place! The only bad thing I would say is don’t choose the blue cheese dressing (bottled) just ask for more crumbles!“

“Twelve Islands was my favorite family restaurant in Crown Point… Even though I don’t live there anymore when I head that way I like to stop in… My daughters loved going there and loved the lemon rice soup…I occasionally got the chicken livers and the calves liver with onions and bacon…. LOL 😂 Oh and the Chefs salad was always great, Greek style…. It’s always good there… I would definitely recommend it…! 5 STARS ✨“

“well I'm really torn on if I should recommend or not... most of the time the food is fine but when it comes to fundraisers they are really really horrid. let's put a box out and not put anything on the box so the majority of the people have no idea about tossing their receipts in there for a cause... im pretty sure they make enough money where they can put something on the boxes for the customers... if they are so scared about losing money don't even bother... yesterday I was there around 4 and not one person threw a receipt in the box.. I was the first.... second fundraiser and second time unless you already knew, had no idea about it.. .“

“My friends and I ate breakfast there the other day. They had remodeled the place. It was brighter& cheery. The only thing I would recommend is bring in some round tables for groups of 6. That makes it Easier for talking & socializing while you eat. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. Our meals came quick & hot. The store area has many nice things but set up too crowded to actually look well to the point you might miss something you would actually buy. I would actually redo the set up of - how you display the products in the store area to be less congested. It’s just too overwhelming to see it all well in its current set up.“

“We ordered the cod dinner on 1/29 and it was delicious. However, when we sat down in a booth we noticed an elderly lady struggling to walk up the icy sidewalk from the parking lot. When the young man brought our food we told him about it and suggested someone spread salt on the area. He was nice and thanked us for mentioning it. However, in the 45 minutes we sat there no one followed through and actually salted the sidewalk. Not good, Culvers.“

The upstairs was loaded with like 50 guests from a baseball team? So he was VERY busy. But that didn't stop him from speed, accuracy and friendliness! Best bartender ! He deserves a raise!“

“We typically love it here. However, we had an easily avoidable issue yesterday. The app only allows the "call ahead" for up to 6. We had a party of 12. So, we called the location to ask if they could accommodate a party of 12. We kept getting placed on hold by 3 different employees only to be told they can't give a time estimate until we are physically there (15+minutes btw of employee after employee). Okay, we pack up and head there. After arriving we are told they can't even sit the 12 of us together and it's a 1.5 hour wait. What a WASTE of OUR time. I understand the wait is based on the customer traffic. But if you guys know you can't sit 12 together, TELL US OVER THE DAM PHONE!!!!!!“

I enjoyed my fried chicken sandwich quite a bit and the additional spice dusting on the bun added just the right amount of heat. Her chicken stromboli was very good, enough for leftovers later that evening. Second time we've been here and we'll likely come back.

Parking: It's almost easier to get here coming off of I-65 as opposed to coming off of US 30.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are restricted after 9 pm per a notice on the door.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair entry should not be a problem and the tables are spaced enough for good access.“

“On this day that my family and I went, everything was great except one thing. It was extremely warm inside! Maybe I should say hot in there. The whole restaurant was super warm! It felt like a sauna! It was very uncomfortable to eat in there. Other customers mentioned it to the employees also.
