“This is response to the lady, I believe Jackie is the name, that had the horrible experience at the Widow's Walk Ice Creamery. You mentioned the owner is responsible for the, let's be honest...very few one star reviews for the business. Have you noticed the number of 5 star reviews that she is also responsible for? This business has endured several staff shortages over the years because it is just a mom and pop set up. They serve hundreds of people and she is always there to help. That is not just a business, but it is also her home. Nobody is coming to your place to tell you not to feed cats or anything else. What she does on the privacy of her own porch is none of your business. 692 reviews with an average of 4.5 is about as solid as you will find for an ice cream shop. You obviously took a misunderstanding and decided to attack on social media. This was not the best way to handle your poor experience. I truly think you should go back and talk to Jill and see about having a new experience that will mirror what the majority of patrons say about this small business in Indiana. This is a business that is not a chain or large scale business. It is family run and continues to please most people. Give them another shot and think about what you are saying within your posts. I understand focusing on the specific experience, but then you got personal with the cats and appears you exaggerated much of what you observed on that day. Great ice cream shop and super service, even on days when somebody calls in. Give them another try please!“

“First time here. Late afternoon, so it wasn't very busy. TONS of options. The variety of options is almost endless when you start combining toppings. We decided on a flight of two cobblers and two banana puddings. They were all tasty. The flight of 4 comes with two cups of ice cream as well. The register person was pleasant and helpful. We had peach cobbler (of ccourse), caramel apple cobbler, pecan bourbon pudding and cheesecake pudding. The location is tucked in a corner in front of Walmart, kind of behind Cheddar's. Not the easiest place to navigate with the gauntlet of Veteran's Parkway and Walmart, but not too bad. For the combination of treats, we thought it was reasonably priced.“
