First off, to all our foreigners, YES, It's fast food Italian!! So good.
Second, if you have time, stop and eat in the restaurant, even if it's a quick stay. If you're working on your laptop, stay and work away. The staff will bring around fresh FREE, HOT buttery and slightly crunchy mostly soft sticks to your table for you to enjoy!
Third, the food is premade and frozen in special heating containers. Don't expect Momma's homade sauce or candles on the tables. It is a fast food restaurant. The salads, drink and bread sticks are homemade, the rest are precooked meals. And they are DELISH!!!! And they come out HOT, HOT, HOT!!!!

The food was amazing and they are one of the very few that still has a freestyle coke machine which is handsdown a plus in its own... but the service was slow for them not being busy, the crew didn't seem happy at all to be there, and they seemed rude to another customer or so it seemed to me. We stopped at Nick’s Chili Parlor to grab a quick chili dog to-go for my son on our way to INpact Band 2026. The service was fast, which we definitely appreciated!

My son got the footlong chili dog and said it was good. It wasn’t his favorite chili dog he’s ever had, but he enjoyed it—and this kid LOVES chili dogs, so he definitely has opinions. 😂

The atmosphere was really cool, and we had no idea Nick’s had been around for so long! This was actually our first time hearing about it and trying it.

The staff was attentive and got us taken care of quickly, but the interaction did feel a little cold. There weren’t really any smiles or small talk. My son especially loves interacting with people, so a little more friendliness would have made the experience stand out.

Overall, we’d definitely stop in again if we were in the area, although it probably wouldn’t become a regular stop for us. Glad we got to give a longtime local place a try!“

I have to ask for them even though they are ordered and paid for and visible on the receipt. No chips, no drinks no cookies. It's just annoying to have to drive back up there & keep asking for items you've paid for. That and I think they are trying to save money on the meats because your sandwich will nearly be a veggie sub. Where's the meats?“

She does an outstanding job and the food and service only seem to be great when she’s working, so shout out and thank you to her!
