She always checked on us made sure we had enough breadsticks. usually, they’re very stingy with the bread. She made sure Had enough refills on drinks before we were completely empty. We didn’t have to ask for anything. Everything ran very smoothly. She was very sweet very kind. She definitely deserves extreme recognition. “Our first time at 'La Carreta' was great! Our host, Benito, was very kind to us and gave the kids some candy. I loved that they had margaritas in different flavors and sizes—some glasses were even bigger than they looked in the photos! Our waiter was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was good for the price, and they let us swap ingredients in our dishes without any issues. Even though we stayed a bit past closing time, the owner never rushed us out; they were so nice to let us stay a little longer.“

“My husband and I went here to get my Mom some broccoli and cheddar soup. She’s been sick, so was trying to get her something she could keep down. She loves the soup. Now me, I ordered the cinnamon crunch bagel. I had a bad experience at another Panera, so I was turned off from ordering them. I had been looking for a good bagel since moving from Minnesota. When I tell you that was one of THE best cinnamon crunch bagels I have had in a while. She asked if I wanted it warmed, I said slightly. She said you want it cut in half, and I said yes please. I took it out the bag, and it was perfectly warmed. I took a bite, and it was delicious. I was thinking the bottom would not be as good, less cinnamon taste, but I was wrong. It was full of flavor!😊 It was so tasty!!! Now it’s not a donut, different texture, but it would definitely satisfy a sweet tooth. Now my husband got the cinnamon roll. He loved it, but it was ok for me. It was full of cinnamon throughout. So if you like cinnamon rolls, it would for sure be a good choice. I’d ask for it to be warmed. On the way home, we stopped for some more bagels, but they were sold out. Talk about disappointed.😫 Anyway, if you haven’t had one, go try it out, and let me know what you think. “When we first moved to NWI, we first visited Pops when they were located closer to Jewel. At first, when we ordered our beef juicy, the beef was still dry. Over the years, they have gotten better. The beef is juicy, tender, and tasty. So juicey that now, they wrap your beef and then put your wrapped beef inside a plastic bag for take out orders. The beef here is much better than the overrated beef sandwich at Portillos. The large order of fries is enough to share.“
