Controversial opinion; the fries are better now tbh.
Super appreciate the actual QUALITY gluten free bun sub. The owners care about making their food accessible to many people, not just carnivores with an iron stomach. Fyre is open late, which gives us second and third shifters a beautiful and delicious option for food during /after our shifts. It’s also just great to be able to get a dab down the street and walk down here and be able to smash food without any sense of shame around the fact that I’m stoned af and about to literally inhale these fries.
The space is much bigger now, as the new owners have remodeled/removed several walls in the front of the shop to create additional seating. A nice high bar in front of a sunny window sounds like workspace heaven at 11am.
They plan to do tons of events, as the space is fricken huge. All around very excited for the future of this space and ftsq!

“I first came across this sandwich shop by accident, I was hungry and my co-worker said let’s try this place, So I got a stk and cheese sandwich ole school w/extra meat. For me I didn’t need the extra meat as the sandwich was over flowing with this deliciousness. I go home and tell the family about this mouth watering meal and we decided to order sandwiches for dinner the next day. My mother ordered the Bobby ( it’s a turkey, dressing and cranberry delight) My sister wanted the Stk & Cheese like I had the day before. I like stopping at Mikes because they offer a wide variety of great submarine sandwiches. Prepared hot or cold, you can find one of their signature subs to your liking.
Don’t see anything you like, create your own version made the way you like it Hot or Cold. With fresh ingredients and robust bread, make this sub rise above most others.
My favorite is the Club Supreme. This delicious sub is made with Roast beef, turkey, swiss, applewood smoked bacon and mayo. I recommend extra bacon for added flavor.
Don’t forget a bag of chips and a cookie or brownie to go with that sub. And a drink if you’re thirsty.“

“I was nervous about a subway on this side of town, but I stumbled across. It, tucked away, hidden in the nook of a seeming to be shut down strip mall area — happily to find a pristine kitchen, with fresh meats and cheeses in what seem to be freshly cleaned and rotated metal tins . The staff is very nice professional, and seems to care about the customers very quick service and was happy to suggest things and update us on pricing. I ate my sandwich and it was fantastic. Definitely one of the better subways I’ve been to and I’ve been to a lot of subways in many states. Will 100% go back and be happy to see the staff there again. He labeled our sandwich that I was going to have for lunch tomorrow with a marker that says tomorrow and packed my sandwich that I was going to eat today separately - without me even asking, he simply just remembered our conversation. I almost signed for their membership rewards program, but then realized where I live does not have a McAlister's restaurant.
I tried their grilled chicken sandwich on rye with sauce on the side and the pecanberry salad. It was very good. It was just enough for dinner.
If they have gelato ice cream here, that would be the best...it can attract more customers. Cappo gelato would be an excellent selection...maybe a separate room and entrance.“

I had called earlier just to ask if they had the Happy Gilmore cup from the special promotion. That’s it—just a quick check. When I showed up later to see what cups they had, they had actually saved the exact one I was hoping for. I never even told them which character I wanted—but somehow, they just knew.
