“our first time here and oh my gosh the food was amazing I wanted the language dinner they had like what tacos they don't have Lego dinners but guess what Joel did our service said no problem we're just going to have to make you dinner the meat will be chopped in little squares cuz it's for tacos but is that okay for you I was like really you're going to have a dinner for me thank you so much and he got it with my sauce already my husband got his food and oh my gosh amazing come y'all come get some of this great amazing true authentic Mexican food located in lake station Indiana thank you guys our first time in Shirley will not be our last“

“This is AWESOME! Staff is friendly and makes you feel so special. Very patriotic which is so hard to find. Be sure to be there at noon so you can stand and be part of the whole restaurant partaking in the National Anthem. The food is out of this world. Best we've had in a while. You are full and feel like part of the family when you leave. Will be back next time we visit our family.“

“We had a great dinner at Olive Garden Monday evening! The food was good, service was good and we were able to enjoy the conversation. The only things that could have made it any better was the chicken could have been cook a little less for the chicken parmigiana ( it was too done, dry, and hard to cut) and more toppings could have been put on the salad in the first serving so we didn’t have to ask for them.“

“My first time here at La Carreta. I’m going to say that the quality of the food is good. I order a Taco loco Combo. The flavor of the Carne Asada was delicious and the Chorizo as well. The Carnitas need more flavor. The corn tortillas were amazing you can taste that are made in the tortillería no from package. On the rice flavor is good but on the refried Beans would be better if were refried with Lard not with Oil. But other that Food is really good and service.“

“When we first moved to NWI, we first visited Pops when they were located closer to Jewel. At first, when we ordered our beef juicy, the beef was still dry. Over the years, they have gotten better. The beef is juicy, tender, and tasty. So juicey that now, they wrap your beef and then put your wrapped beef inside a plastic bag for take out orders. The beef here is much better than the overrated beef sandwich at Portillos. The large order of fries is enough to share.“
