“This was my first time ever at a Culver’s since we don’t have them in NJ. I didn’t realize you have to pull up to a designated spot so they bring out your food and the spots are not marked, so I ended up driving all the way around. The employee was very nice, asked if I forgot to order anything and I explained my confusion.

The food was worth it, tasty butterburger and delicious root beer float. The cheese curds are like small mozzarella sticks. I hope they bring this franchise to NJ!“

“A few days ago, I had the privilege of stopping by American Pancake House & Restaurant for what I initially expected to be a quick breakfast. What I experienced instead was a reminder of what a classic American breakfast restaurant is supposed to feel like.

From the moment I walked in, the level of hospitality stood out. The service was respectful, attentive, and genuinely welcoming in a way that feels increasingly rare. Having spent time on both the West Coast and the East Coast, I can say that the Midwest continues to surprise me with the level of warmth and class found in places like this.

I was served by a young blonde waitress whose name I unfortunately don’t remember, but her professionalism left a strong impression. She walked me through the menu in detail, explaining the options clearly while also giving me the time and space to read through everything without pressure. That balance of attentiveness and patience is something that defines great service.

For breakfast, I ordered a sunny side up steak plate with hash browns and gravy. The dish delivered exactly what a hearty American breakfast should: comforting, satisfying, and full of flavor. It was the kind of meal that genuinely sets the tone for the rest of the day.

Beyond the food itself, the dining room carries an atmosphere that feels almost like being in someone’s home. There’s a sense of ease in the space you’re not rushed, not pressured to move quickly. Instead, you’re allowed to sit, enjoy your meal, and relax for a moment, which is exactly what a good diner-style breakfast restaurant should offer.

During my visit, I also had the opportunity to briefly meet the manager, and her professionalism was equally impressive. It’s clear that the quality of the experience from the service to the atmosphere is the result of thoughtful leadership and care for the establishment.

Since I was unable to catch the persons license plate and I was a bit frazzled, when I went inside and asked to see a manager everyone was really sweet and understanding, Erin, the manager, really helped make me feel like something was being done about the issue. It seems like every time I come up from out of state I visit this place and this is literally the taste of Goshen. The place seems so family oriented and despite how busy this place gets the communication is strong so literally there is really no mix up or anything. This place has been with me as a kid and I hope it will be here forever“

“You'll be glad you stopped. Wonderful little roadside diner. Quaint 'home town' experience. The place hasn't changed much at all in 50 years. The food came to the table piping hot and in a timely manner. The service was very good, cheerful and attentive checking on us at regular intervals but not too frequently. I ordered wings and fried pickles and finally found soggy azz fried pickled UNDER my wings -- why were they not boxed separately?.Not quite crunchy and crisp. “Rudest bartender I've ever met. Dana called last call at 9:45pm on Friday. At 10:20 she walked through the bar and said you have 5 minutes to finish your drinks. She came back at 10:25 and tried to take everyone's glasses. Half our table wasn't finished yet and she became complacent when we would not give her our glasses. She told us we were no longer welcome at this BDubs location. Our server then came back to our table and said they don't close till 11:00 so if you would like to stay and finish your cocktails I would gladly wash your cups.“

“The quality of our local steak and shakes have significantly improved along with the staff. Much cleaner, tastes better, and even seems more filling than it used to. On top of that the new company policies like banning microwaves, beef tallow for their fried goods, and grass fed beef for the burgers. It went downhill a while ago but I can definitely say it has done a complete 360 and has honestly been one of our families favorite quick fast food locations now. Definitely better than McDonald's.“
