“Looks like a good family place. They have a theatre and a large arcade. There are also bowling alleys you can reserve. One has a bar. The facilities were clean and the staff kept up. We had a large gathering and things were stocked. They attended the bowling lanes well. I was not a fan of their pizza, but even bad pizza is still decent. I am curious to see someone get their ginor.ous bag of theatre popcorn for 25 bucks (see pic). Plenty of parking. Thanks for the good time!“
“Food is flavorful and deliciousVery expensive with small portions, the chicken strips are pretty small, that’s my main complaintSauces are the cats pajamasThat is correct, zaxby got that sauce yoAfter eating here I proceeded to win 2 spelling bees in two separate foreign nations just after casually parachuting out the back of a jet over Norway.“
“Shout out to Kari at the drive thru window and the whole staff at McAllisters. I was instructed by my wife to pick up a sandwich that was a add on to her catering order for today. I went to pick it up but it wasn't in their system. Kari and staff fulfilled the order anyway. Turns out the order my wife put in never went through. The order was for a Ruben sandwich. I typically don't order that but I will say it was DELICIOUS. The added brownie was icing. I'm glad McAllisters is part of the Newburgh community. Props to the staff as well!!!“
“I still love this place, hence, the 4 stars. I go there and write , drink coffee, and eat lunch. Most the time what I order is fresh and delicious, but I ordered a new sandwich they have, Teriyaki Chicken. OMG, it tasted and looked like shoe leather, sorry Panera, but you draw big goose egg on this one.“
“As always, the food was good, served quickly and my drive thru order was correct. I ordered through the app and it was easy and I got enough points for a free dessert. The number of customers our local restaurant serves is amazing, so for them to get my order correct every time says great things about their staff.“
“Free ice cream. Good food. Great selection of kids menu for good price. We tried the Chicken Alfredo and the kids loved it! Even came with a drink. My salad was fresh and I liked the dressing. We'll definitely come back again!Kid-friendliness: Great options for kids plus FREE ice cream!“
“This is called Pozole Rojo. Pozole is a Traditional Mexican celebratory soup that mostly gets made during birthdays, holidays, ect. It was created by the ancient Aztecs in Mexico and has gotten better since. No more sacrificing to the Gods. The broth is the best part. Growing up in LA this was a special meal and you would get super excited to hear there was going to be Pozole at your friends place for thanksgiving. I decided to check out Nachos Grill on South Green River Road. (under new management). I haven’t been to that restaurant since it was still La Cabana. The outside needs cleaned and updated but the inside of the restaurant was new and very clean. Service was also great since I was the only one there. Lol. The Pozole was delicious… flavorful and how I had it back home in Los Angeles. I can image their tacos and tortas are just as good too. Super rich and delicious… great for hangovers. Pozole is a hominy stew. This particular one is pork butt or shoulder. Ancho chilly peppers are blended with garlic and lime and a whole bunch of spices and things. Base is chicken broth most of the time. Not spicy but you can always add more heat. Literally one of the greatest soups you’ll ever taste. I always squeeze a few lemons into my bowl. Then you have your side garnishes to put in the soup. Chopped onions, cilantro, sliced radish, pico de gallo, limes, avocado, chopped lettuce or cabbage. Most of the time you eat this with a tostada. You dip it… put all the fun things on the tostada shell then what ever falls into the soap you eat that too. You can also use grilled tortilla’s and tortilla chips. I make my own Pozole from home for holidays but sometimes you don’t wanna cook 6+ hours. Lol. I give their Pozole a 10/10. Also I prefer my salsa chunky as it should be… added pico de gallo to my salsa. Give them a try. -The Taco Snob“
“We were in Evansville for a show and stopped to eat here. The food was amazing and the menu provided lots of options to choose from to suit our family of 5’s needs. The meal portions were very good size as well and our son loved his Mickey pancakes and our daughter’s pancakes were beautiful. The restaurant was clean, easy to locate and the staff took exceptional care of us. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting or living in the area.“
