“This Subway restaurant was like any other, however, I had to deduct 2 stars because the roof must have a leak, as water was dripping down by the outside windows near where my kids and I were sitting.

Thankfully, a television in the restaurant was playing the episode of the A-Team where thugs are threatening Mr T's mom, and trying to scare her out of her apartment. This was more than enough to distract me from any inbound water.“

We loved it so much we looked up the business and drove multiple times from Portage to Hammond just to get it again. Soooo good. The best Italian ice I have ever had!“

“I ate at this Charleys location for the first time in a while and lemme tell you, this place is amazing!!! Seems like new management because the place is ten times better than when I had it before. I ordered a philly steak cheese fries boneless lemon pepper wings and a strawberry lemonade and everything was ON POINT! The service was great too, the manager i believe his name is Jay was really nice and helpful. I noticed they have milkshakes but i had no room for dessert the food is so filling and worth the money, definently want to try that cookies and cream milkshake next time tho :)

“I do mobile orders at this location all the time, very often for large orders (6 sandwiches, plus chips). They always get my order right, with all the customizations, and it's always ready when I arrive to pick up. I occasionally get delivery with no issues. Great and friendly service!“

“as a truck driver, i've been to many subways. I have been to this one in Gary IN like 7 times in the last 2-3 months. I have been served by a handful of different employees. They always have EXCEPTIONAL customer service here, easily the best subway customer service i have ever experienced. Always friendly, and always tolerant of my (probably unusual) request to toast bacon on the side for extra crispiness. The subs the employees make here are always absolutely delicious too. “I've never been to a Subway before so I was a little nervous about ordering. I entered the building and was greeted by a young man named Brayden. I think he could tell I was a little nervous about ordering so he went through the entire menu with me, ranking each sub from his favorite to least favorite. Then he told me all of the different variations they can do...I was astounded 😳! I was ordering for my 3 kids and wasn't sure what subs to order them. Brayden asked me about each kid and then suggested which subs they'd like based on their personalities. Well....he was right!!!! My kids LOVED what he picked out for them. “When we first moved to NWI, we first visited Pops when they were located closer to Jewel. At first, when we ordered our beef juicy, the beef was still dry. Over the years, they have gotten better. The beef is juicy, tender, and tasty. So juicey that now, they wrap your beef and then put your wrapped beef inside a plastic bag for take out orders. The beef here is much better than the overrated beef sandwich at Portillos. The large order of fries is enough to share.“

“The service and atmosphere are pure Subway, ok, and clean. This stores's bathroom is off limits still. But I like the sandwiches I've had there. I stick with the hot sandwiches, particularly the chicken. The chicken is real roasted chicken, and there is an ample amount of it on the sandwich. The bread they use isn't high end french, but it is fresh. The flatbread is pretty good also. Good enough that I bought some at the grocery store. Some Subways will sell an extra bread, but this one won't. The cookies are good too. There is a good deal if you add a bottle of soda, a bag of chips and a cookie. A well rounded meal! My store is open until 1 am, so it's a quick, easy late night meal.

Wheelchair accessibility: It's doable, but not easy. The door is in a well, and slightly uphill. If you're alone, you have to open the door, come around the corner while keeping the door open, and over the threshold. It's a pain, and easier if you're with someone. Supposedly the staff will help, but they've never offered, and it's hard for them to see you. I guess you could call if you had your phone, but it nullifies the purpose of being ADA compliant.“

“3 star for service because I entered in my phone for rewards and they didn't add it on there. they have to select my name to have it count and they didn't. I'm seeing a trend across Northwest Indiana and Chicago owned Jimmy Johns because this has happened more than 5 times in the past 6-8 months maybe even more.“
