“Let me tell y’all about this Slapfish.I called in my order to go and order the grinder with the aioli on the side and the Jersey sauce on the side.Because I don’t live close and don’t want my bread soggy.Y’all … that grinder is SO good. “I ate at several steak houses this past week while at a print conference here in town and I choose this place as the one that I will rave about! The atmosphere is very deluxe feeling and the people were so very nice and accommodating but the food was spectacular and so much better than the other place which will go remain unnamed.The house made lobster bisque was literally the best I have ever had with plentiful chunks of lobster in a very richly made creamy and flavourful base. The oysters were as fresh as they come with fresh ground horse radish.When I could not decide between the tenderloin and lobster and the double cut lamb chops, I asked our waiter Carter (who by the way was fantastic and I would highly recommend that you ask for him) which of the two dishes I would be the most sad that I missed, he recommended immediately without hesitation the lamb chops. And I’m here to tell you what, they were spectacular! I had mine cooked to order at medium and they were perfect and delicious.I finished my meal off with the coconut cream pie which was truly out of this world excellent!We pretty much rolled out of there in the most delightful food coma I’ve ever been in!Thank you Carter and the Capital Grille for a most wonderful and memorable meal!“
“Walked here after a Pacers game and had a great experience. The staff was great and it was in a cool old building downtown. I also liked that you did not have to be dressed a certain way to eat her like some other high end steak houses. The tables were a little close together for my taste but it's busy so they have to fit as many tables as possible in there. The food was great! I got a filet that was cooked perfectly with a lot of flavor. I think the 12 oz filet costs about $72 & comes with a side and soup. Overall i really liked this famous Indianapolis steak house and i will definitely be back!“
“Colby was our waiter tonight. He had expansive menu knowledge and great suggestions. We started with the crabcakes, had an order of king crab legs, and then shared the 16 ounce dry aged steak with added scallops, brussels sprouts, potatoes au gratin and finished off with the delicious dessert that I cannot remember the name of. Financier cake? Anyway, it is literally worth every penny. We started in Mel's speakeasy with a couple of drinks and then migrated to our table, which they held for us. I have never had a better espresso martini in my life. The service was impeccable , and the food was just as good. Tonight‘s dinner cost a pretty penny, but it was worth everyone of them. We have two children with celiac and inquired about the Easter brunch, which resulted in a really good conversation with management. Proving they take allergies and service seriously.“

“Fusion Fish and Loaves has only been open three months and it's stole my heart. This little cafe has big flavors. Fusion doesn't even begin to describe the menu that offers egg rolls, burritos, fish and chips and much more. We stopped for lunch today just after they had opened. You order at the counter, pay and the server brings your food out to your table when it is prepared. And everything is freshly prepared. My granddaughter ordered the chicken tenders from the kid's menu. The chicken tenders were freshly hand breaded and fried. The chicken was remarkably moist. Even the fries tasted hand cut. I had the Southwest Shrimp Burrito with fries. The burrito was huge with lots of flavors going on including corn, black beans, lettuce, rice and the biggest juiciest shrimp. The burrito was served with three sauces, each of which was delicious. There was a creamy green sauce, a spicy hot red pepper sauce and a tangy creamy red sauce. The burrito is so huge, that it is easily sharable. We also ordered the guacamole with chips to share. The chips are fresh made and seasoned. The guac was fresh and delicious. Our server was friendly and checked on us to see if we needed anything. Food came out fairly quickly (within 15 minutes). The simple dining area has about a dozen tables and is super clean. There was one tv monitor playing cooking shows. They do a robust carry out business. They also have weekly specials. This week was a pork tenderloin that is all hand pounded and breaded. Next time...... This will be on my regular list. Everything in the menu looks amazing.“

Geraldine's was as good, if not BETTER than the "big name" steakhouses downtown or on the north side. We have enjoyed all of them and this experience was above and beyond! From the bar service, to the food service to the atmosphere to the amazing, cut with a spoon and melt on your mouth steak, this was the best date night experience we have had in years! We absolutely will be back as a couple as well as with friends for a double date night or a friends dinner.“

He’s organized, he keeps strict track of who is waiting for which seating, and he’s on the floor with the servers, well-dressed, cordial, and right in the middle of it all, just like they are. “Whenever I am in the mood for good margaritas and food I always come here. This visit I tried the carnitas chimichangas and they were so good and very filling. I always get the same drink every visit because the mango margarita on the rocks with the Tajín rim never disappoints. And the churros with ice cream are always so good. The service is always the best, they will always check up on you and make sure everything is satisfactory. The whole atmosphere is just wonderful, I always feel welcomed every visit and I definitely need to make it here at least every two weeks. But Keisha has been the most friendly helpful easy going person I have met in Indiana since moving from San Diego California. She was extremely helpful funny and quick and efficient. She definitely makes the restaurant worth coming back to. The location of the restaurant is bit rundown like the parking lot is a little ghetto and you can't really tell where and how you should park so I noticed besides myself everyone else just pulled right up to the door. Service was great, food was great, it wasn't very busy when we arrived (we eat dinner "early") so that was great.I chose the Johnny Trio (it basically had sirloin, chicken and some raviloi).
