All the sandwiches we have tried, which I believe now is almost all of them, are so good. The fries and Mac and Cheese phenomenal. Service has always been fantastic.“
“This is such a cute little restaurant that seems to have not kept up with the times....That is a good thing! The soda fountain looked original as well as the hutch that was next to it. If you are looking for a throwback diner that remindes you of a first date back in the day, then this is a must place to visit. I had the hot pastrami on marbled rye and my wife had the open faced seafood salad. Both were really delicious.“

“This establishment is moderately high priced in its menu items which could be cheaper. Food could be priced lower at $5-$10 for a main item instead of $15. For two people to eat here with shakes and optional side it will cost 30-35 dollars. This restaurant is incredibly clean and well taken care of. Restrooms are clean. Service is quick.“
“It was recommended that I stop here for lunch. Small "mom and pop" type place, nothing fancy just functional. Not a bunch of menu options to dig through. Staff was incredibly friendly!! I'm not a big fan of root beer but their's in the frozen mug was really good, and they keep it full for you.Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but I'll definitely go back to try something different.“

“Nice, clean little subway in a convenient location. The workers are pretty nice and attentive compared to some other subways - the most inattentive and clueless employees of any business I have every dealt with were subway employees at other locations. The place is clean, and has some seating.“

“On Thursday February 27 my husband and I went to Subway on Madison Avenue in Derby Ks. about 7:30 p.m.We were served by Ty (Jones I think.) He very pleasantly informed us that he was sorry but the store was out of bread. He said they still had flat bread, wraps, salads and two sliders which we took. After us two other gentlemen came in one ordered one left. But Ty treated them both with the same pleasant and respectable attitude.“

Ask for extra to get even close to what is expected, advertised, and offered at other Subways. Service is pretty good (4 stars). Order ahead is convenient, even if picking up can be awkward because they don’t use the pickup shelf (4 stars).“

Today I learned Angie is leaving and doesn't feel appreciated. “Flying through Atlanta airport, I always bought Charley’s! Excited to see it in the mall. So had to try it! It did not disappoint. Staff was friendly. It was made fresh and to order. “I went in and got some subs for lunch and I just have to say I was so impressed with the guy that made my food. I missed getting his name, but he was a slim black guy with a friendly attitude and warm smile. He greeted me when I walked in the door and made my whole experience above par. He will be the reason we pick Subway instead of Spangles or any other restaurant around that area.The only thing I was irritated with was there has to be something wrong with the salt and pepper combo shaker because my subs were made the same and both are so salty you can barely eat them. I had to rinse off the vegetables close to the opening edge of the sandwich because it's so salty it's almost not edible, but THAT WAS NOT THE EMPLOYEES FAULT! I asked for mayo, extra oil and vinegar and salt & pepper, which I watched him put the S&P on and it looked like a normal amount. So i figure there is a problem with the shaker itself.“

“The latest great sandwich spot of Derby, just north of Rock and Patriot Avenue. This fine chain has some superb hot sandwiches so this location is highly welcomed, especially for being a quick drive for all at McConnell Air Force Base. For my fist visit, the sandwiches were awesome, service was fantastic, and the dining area was spaciously set up with a great visual tribute to firefighters. I highly recommend this Firehouse Subs.“
“I came in on Wednesday. I made a mistake of thinking I could solo trip my kids to the zoo and then lunch. I got in the restaurant with three tired hungry tornadoes pretending to be children. There was a sweet lady running the register she was beyond patient with me, and honestly deserves a raise for how awesome she was. I don't tend to write reviews, but I wanted to make sure that everyone who even thinks about going to firehouse knows that Karen up there is legit. From one tired appreciative dad thanks.“
“Ok, first of all - it's a subway. Cold cuts, cheese, and veggies. It's not a gourmet restaurant. I'm writing this review for the kid working today. The sandwich was delicious. Made just the way I wanted it. Remember meat, cheese, veggies. He was quick, hard working and did a good job. He was very nice and friendly and had wonderful customer service. I would recommend this location to everyone!“
