“We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner and welcome reception at Rye Leawood and we had an incredible experience. From early on in the planning process to the event itself, the experience was expectational. They went above and beyond. India, the Event Manager, was so helpful with the planning of the room design, food menu, and beverage menu. Everything I requested she delivered on - the perfect layout of the room to accommodate the rehearsal dinner followed by the welcome reception to the entire menu being gluten and dairy free. She answered every email in a timely manner and met with me multiple times to over questions I had. She was so great to work with. The food was delicious! Every dish from appetizers to desserts was beautifully presented and so flavorful - I didn't know GF/DF could be so delicious. We have received so many compliments about the menu. The service was outstanding. The staff was so professional. They know how to work an event - incredibly efficient and attentive. Our guests were well taken care of. The entire event ran so smoothly. If you are looking for a venue for your special event, I highly recommend Rye Leawood - amazing food, outstanding service and an incredible experience. Our event was unforgettable. “Me and my mom stopped by while in town for a concert and everything literally was PERFECT. we have been raving in the car since leaving and Tiffany was the most perfect server that we were blessed with. We had the pretzel app, the stockyard fries, and the mac and cheese with bacon and everything was out quickly and again, absolutely astonishing!!! much love to Tiffany, and because she was so proactive we got to the concert DEAD ON time.“

“This place is a must try if you're looking for something quaint, romantic, and personal, yet with the quality and atmosphere of your favorite location. The owners, Dan and Carla, were so personable and spoke to us at our table, giving us the history and story of “The Castle”, and also giving us wine preferences, valuable life recommendations, and a celebratory rose in a wine carafe for our anniversary. Our waitress, Ashley, was great as well, and made our experience top notch. The experience here was one of our most memorable and is definitely a place we will be back to and will recommend to anyone we talk to. Give them a visit, you won't regret it!“

If you come over Christmas time, they have it decorated so festive and cute & even have cute Christmas themed drinks! Definitely need to book a reservation in advance!“

“I have traveled to Overland Park for work from time to time, and the Doubletree hotel is by far the best hotel in the area and that is because of the Trofi restaurant onsite. The aesthetic is classy, clean, and visually appealing, and the food is great. However, it’s truly the staff that makes Trofi an establishment that keeps customers coming back. Phil is absolutely FANTASTIC! He engages with customers in a way that makes his customer service exceptional - he remembers little details about us months later which creates true connections. Not to mention, he has a great personality. By the same token, Walter is awesome! His humor and personality brings such a fun vibe to the restaurant. The two of them together, talk about a dream team! I will never stay elsewhere in the area because of this place feeling like home away from home and making work travel such a pleasant experience.“
