A card, table decorated, a gift and their delicious banana foster had my mom feeling so special! Thank you guys for always treating us right. We cannot come to KC without stopping by!“

“Nice place, good food, and great service but the light fun atmosphere just tanked when the manager walked by. Not what you want to see on a Saturday night at this price point! It was actually awkward to experience the way the manager treated the employees. He literally yelled across the room at the bartender for no identifiable reason. Sometimes it’s watching the way someone treats others that ruins a nice time more than anything. It really is a nice place with good food and great service hopefully this part of the place can change. Appears mine isn’t the first review that involves the manager so hopefully they will fix this issue.“

“Today I ordered 1/2 lb of catfish strips, small fish and shrimp combo, potato salad and two peach cobbler’s. It was very good! The wait time is a bit long but next time I will call my order in. I’ve been disappointed several times ordering peach from other restaurants when out of town… but this cobbler is pretty good. Staff was friendly and my order was correct and on point!“

We moved here from Florida about 2 years ago and have been searching for a sushi spot that is just as good as our favorite place back home and hadn’t found it untill tonight. This was hands down the freshest sushi we’ve had in KC. Everything including the fast friendly and knowledgeable staff was outstanding. One person in our party has never been a sushi eater, just recently started trying new things and still wasn’t sure about it but that changed tonight.“

Wonderful sides (the pear walnut salad was wonderful!) made me wonder if perhaps the waiter just misunderstood the order. We went for a late lunch so no wait- and ordered the Seafood Combo #1- 1/2 Snow Crab, 1/2 shrimp - Cajun medium and garlic butter. It’s all steamed in a huge bag and comes with tender potatoes, juicy corn and a boiled egg- price point was good for the amount of food you get. I had to take some home.“
