“We ordered 4 donuts. All of them exceeded expectations. They were warm, fluffy, and sweet. We also ordered coffee. My son accidentally spilled the entire cold brew, and the employee (I think she was the manager) replaced it without question. Customer service was great, and we enjoyed watching them put toppings on the donuts while we waited.

“French Custard is the best neighborhood ice cream spot that you could ask for! They have amazing rotating seasonal flavors - as well as go to favorites. Not only are they amazing at what they do, they also donate a portion of each month's proceeds to local organizations who give back to our community. Anytime the weather warms up above 60, the line is often outside of the door, but the wait is always worth it.“

“Me and my boyfriend stopped in for the first time tonight and we were not disappointed! This place is so cute and I loved all of the details that went into this shop. The shop was clean, well decorated, and even displayed local artwork. They had old school arcade games available to play for free which was also super cool. The ice cream was delicious and the texture was amazing. Service was friendly, speedy, and overall spectacular! We will definitely be back in, and highly recommend you check it out.“

“I feel bad with the way I left the store about an hour ago. The workers and I had a miscommunication because someone else in my family ordered online and therefore had the link to check in. I was just in charge of pick up and I was by myself. When I got my order, I felt like I was short with the worker helping me (tall, curly haired man, early 20s?) and I didn't mean to. I meant for my response to be lighthearted and humorous and I'm afraid that's not how it came across. I apologize.
Anyways, its the holidays and those employees are dealing with a lot right now. Of course I will be coming back to this location and to other crumbl stores, and they did a fabulous job considering how busy it was.“

“Felt brave since i eat spicy food all the time and got there hottest tenders. Soo let me just start with first bite i was kinda of laughing because i told myself its not that hot. Well pretty soon i was sweating and every breathe continued to heat up i kept going because mama didnt raise a quitter got one tender down said ok cool i think my lips were numb and mouth getting used to it nope second tender about a quarter of the way i it came back with a mighty vengence. 10/10 would recommend id defintley get the again they actually had great flavor and i think the tingling, burning, sweating, watching your life flash before you, and hiccups is all part of the experience for hot food. Ill be back to try again maybe it was just a weird fluke.“

Went to Foo's because my girlfriend went when she was growing up. We got to meet Betty, Foo's sister who took over the shop and seems to be the mayor of Brookside (she formally welcomed us to her neighborhood). It was so warm and welcoming.
When we asked about flavors, it was sweet to hear her describe the flavors of the people who they were named after.
The frozen custard was delicious, accurate to description and fun. Flavors ranged from the standard to obvious unique. Sizes are appropriate (I feel like nowadays I need to ask for an infant portion), prices are fair. 10/10 feels lucky to have gone and met this gem.“

And I can’t say enough about the owner, Renée (sp?) She was so welcoming and friendly, taking the time to make sure we were satisfied and sharing her passion for great food. You can tell she genuinely cares about providing a top-notch experience for every customer.

This is a place where you get flights. Yes, plural. I will be honest, I haven't tried the cookies here but I am a huge fan of their ice cream.

They have a solid variety and the kids behind the counter know what they're doing. Shout out to Maddy and Kate for being super nice with my kiddos.“

I love this place but they were a little lacking on the COVID restrictions tonight. No mask and people were picking their own toppings from under the barrier! Maybe they ran out of mask but we shall see. Still, it's the best place in the area for frozen yogurt.“

“Everything about Culver's is outstanding except their gluten-free hamburger buns. Since the gluten-free hamburger is the only main dish food item they have, I'm kind of stuck with it when my family wants to eat at Culver's for family dinner night. Everything about the burger is great except the bun. It's reminiscent of the gluten-free buns of 20 years ago. It's grainy, doesn't hold together, and doesn't taste that good. Just the act of picking up my burger tonight had it cracking in 4 places, with a big chunk falling off the burger and crumbling onto my tray. There are a lot of great gluten-free buns out there now. Culver's needs to find one of them and switch.

Last night, while I was at Culver’s, a woman fell in the parking lot and her spouse was struggling to help her up. One of the staff members quickly rushed over to assist them, which I thought was incredibly thoughtful and kind. I also went over to make sure she was okay, but it really stood out to me that the staff didn’t hesitate to step in and help. Moments like that speak volumes about the people who work here. Great food and even better character from the team—I’ll definitely be back.“

We had the privilege of attending a fire works demo in Lawson and my kids spotted the ice cream van and Barbara just made it easy for the kids to pick what they wanted because there are so many choices! “Today, our homeschool program held a fundraiser here after school. There were only two workers, Nathan, and another young lady in the back. There were over 100 people in line. These two served everyone with a smile. They were friendly and got orders out as quickly as possible. I know they were probably feeling overwhelmed, but they did not show it. I’m sure they were exhausted once their shift was over! I hope the owner sees this, because those two definitely deserve a raise!“
